Chatter on these Rightwing Radio Networks with hundreds of affiliated Stations is a massive echo chamber for the anti-Obama, anti-government , pro-Gun Nationalist, Nativist who promote a plethora of Conspiracy Theories not just about President Obama but about the US Government,the Federal Reserve, FEMA,International Bankers , the United Nations etc. They all refer to these conspiracies as if they had been proven beyond a bout. And these days it helps that they are now joined by a major news network Fox News who supports whatever these people come up with except UFOs and the Lizard People-after all Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly and their fellow traveler do have some integrity?- or there are some lies and nonsense that even they have to draw a line.
So anyway I spent a few hours listening in on the conversations, diatribes and screeds found on right-Wing Hate Radio in the U.S. I listened to stations from Texas to Nebraska and Colorado-Hate straight from the Heartland -"home of the Real Americans" who are convinced Obama wasn't born an American and that he has a nefarious socialist communist agenda.
They truly believe (erroneously) that Obama is going to take their guns away and shut down all of the conservative radio programs.
Well no wonder they believe these things about Obama ;Hate Talk Radio and Fox News have been passing this stuff off as the real deal since before Obama even won the first primary. In fact he was being attacked , made fun of & was not treated as serious candidate.
Many Republicans and conservatives had themselves so convinced right up to election day that Obama could not win and so when he did this created a rift as it were in their mental processes or a form of cognitive dissonance which has left them searching for explanations. So even many of the previously thoughtful and serious Republicans and conservatives have become attracted to and at times even believe in the most outrageous "conspiracy theories". So these individuals have been set adrift from reality because of an inexplicable and for them a traumatic event.

It has become standard fare on American Talk Radio and has now spread to Fox News & CNN etc.They take their Hate Speech for granted believing it is based upon facts and experience. The ultraconservative WorldNetdaily is pushing "the radicals in the White house conspiracy "claiming a number of infamous people have visited the White House though the White House denies it. Once again raising the specter of Obama being influenced or a puppet of "Far left Radicals".They have insisted Obama hand over all such logs.
Odd that when Cheney and others in Bush administration refused to hand over these logs the Republicans & Conservative media defended them by referring to "National Security"
Besides didn't Bush and Cheney entertain or meet with a number of leaders of the Political Right and The Religious Right and push for policies they desired. But of course they don't regard anti-immigration organizations such as FAIR (listed as a Hate Group by SPLC) or NumbersUSA or religious groups such as Focus on the Family or the Heritage Foundation , or Doug Coe's Fascist organization for the elite "The Family" and all the Faith Based Community activists groups as being partisan and far to the right. And how much money poured into these conservative religious organizations during the Bush years how much of that money is unaccounted for.
One thing Beck happens to be right about and I agree with him on as does Bill Moyers that there are few serious honest journalists with the integrity and the passion for the truth around who will pursue a story no matter where it leads. "Journalists" and News Anchors are only interested in Sound Bites and stories which are easy for most people to grasp in under four minutes or less. But Beck is not one of those real journalist .

US Gun Show Boy, 8, shot dead with submachine gun " October 27, 2008
With an instructor watching, an 8-year-old boy at a gun fair aimed an Uzi submachine gun at a pumpkin and pulled the trigger as his dad reached for a camera. It was his first time shooting a fully automatic gun, and the recoil of the weapon was too much for him. He lost control and fatally shot himself in the head.
Now gun safety experts – and some gun enthusiasts at the club where the shooting happened – are wondering why such a young child was allowed to fire a weapon used in war. Local, state and federal authorities are also investigating whether everyone involved had proper licenses or if anyone committed a criminal act.
"It's easy to lose control of a weapon like that ... they are used on a battleground for a very good reason,“ said Jerry Belair, a spokesman for Stop Handgun Violence, based in Newton, Massachusetts. "It's to shoot as many times as you possibly can without having to reload at an enemy that's approaching. It's not a toy. It's not something to play with.“
Police said Christopher Bizilj of Ashford, Connecticut, was pronounced dead at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, on Sunday afternoon, shortly after firing a 9mm micro Uzi submachine gun at the Machine Gun Shoot and Firearms Expo at the Westfield Sportsman's Club, co-sponsored by C.O.P. Firearms & Training.
"The weapon was loaded and ready to fire,“ Westfield police Lt. Hipolito Nunez said. "The 8-year-old victim had the Uzi and as he was firing the weapon, the front end of the weapon went up with the backfire and he ended up receiving a round in his head.
