Romney's "Nigerization" of President Obama and Tea Party Group Call for Coup D'Etat To Oust Obama & Islamophobe Pam Geller Attacking All Muslims and Arabs

And another anti-Islam anti-Arab pro-Israel poster -Pam Geller of Atlas Shrugs was responsible for these posters but she disingenuously claims that she is just standing up for Israel but the wording of the poster implies that all other nations in the region of Israel are uncivilized and are populated by savages .

Another billboard from the GOP and Tea Party mob.
The message appears to suggest that if Obama were to win in November that the US military has an obligation to remove President Obama from office by a military Coup D'etat.

So when Conservatives promote the use of the military to remove a democratically elected president there is no consequences for those responsible for this message on a publicly posted billboard.

Isn't this by law considered treason . They are trying to incite hatred, fear and violence against the President of the USA. If a liberal or democrat or #ows supporter made such a statement they would be grabbed by police roghed up and kept in prison in indefinite imprisonment.

Creepy Tea Partiers Think They Own the Military--And Can Use It Against the Rest of Us! Hullabaloo by Digby, August 17, 2012

The message, put up earlier this month, was paid for by We the People of Marshall and Fulton counties, a tea party group. The head of the organization, Don Nunemaker of Plymouth, said late last week that the message was meant as a call for action at the ballot box on Election Day, Nov. 6.

He was vague about the threat voters are to “remove,” saying it’s up to individual voters to glean what they will from the message. He didn’t immediately return a call Monday seeking comment on the demonstration plans.

First, it's easily construed as a call for a military coup, which is as un-American as if gets. Second, these people believe they own the military and use it as a weapon against the rest of us. It's a very creepy dynamic.

...That ad is by the same people who insisted that the Democrats are trying to keep military voters in Ohio from voting. This stuff is going on under the radar so far. This election won't be a national security election so I suppose it may not rise to the surface. But these wingnuts are keeping their partisan military fetish alive (as opposed to the more mainstream rah-rah of the Democrats which is bad enough) and it will come roaring back as soon as an opportunity presents itself.

If people think that Obama ordering bin Laden's death along with the rest of his tough national security policies have forever retired the advantage Republicans have on these issues, they need to ask Bill Clinton whether balancing the budget and leaving a surplus resulted in the Democrats never having to face the "tax and spend" label again

Billboard Of The Day" by Joe.My.God, Aug. 17, 2012

Having just won her court battle to place anti-Islam messages on NYC public transit, wingnut blogger Pam Geller begins with the above Metro-North campaign.

"Paul Feiner, the Greenburgh Town Supervisor, tells the Daily Politics that he wants the MTA "to warn passengers that the ads could be upsetting and don't represent Metro-North's views or that of the community," noting, "There are many Muslims residing in Greenburgh and in our villages.

They should not be discriminated against. the posters encourage hatred, discrimination and do not help the efforts to fight hate crimes." Feiner added that he wants the MTA to donate the ad profits to an anti-discrimination campaign, "I feel it's not a violation of free speech for Metro North to put up a competing sign and it's also not a violation of free speech if they donate the profits to an anti-defamation league or an organization that objects to hate crimes. I feel that it should be clear that the people of Metro North and the town do not support this message."

MSNBC's Toure argues Romney using racist coded language which he refers to as "niggerization" to stir up the GOP base against President Obama.

MSNBC’s Touré: Romney Engaging In The ‘Niggerization’ Of Obama by Andrew Kirell, Mediaite via Drudge report August 16th, 2012

On Thursday’s edition of MSNBC’s The Cycle the group discussed Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney‘s assertion that President Obama should “take [his] campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago.” Co-host Touré saw what he believes to be explicit racial connotations beneath what Romney was saying, calling it the “niggerization” of the campaign.

“That really bothered me,” he said. “You notice he said anger twice. He’s really trying to use racial coding and access some really deep stereotypes about the angry black man. This is part of the playbook against Obama, the ‘otherization,’ he’s not like us.”

“I know it’s a heavy thing, I don’t say it lightly, but this is ‘niggerization,’” Touré said to the apparent shock of his co-panelists. “You are not one of us, you are like the scary black man who we’ve been trained to fear.”

Conservatives at politico claim they are concerned over the increasing numbers for suicide rate in the US military and slyly makes it into a personal failure and not related to soldiers fighting unnecessary or ill-defined wars in which soldiers are encouraged to demonize and dehumanize the so-called enemy which to the troops is any and all Iraqis and Afghanis .

Soldiers kill innocent civilians in order to raise their daily body count to appease their commanders and the Pentagon. For many soldiers this sort of attitude leaves an impression on them which some are unable to shake.

Soldiers who believe that if another soldier or officer commits a crime or an atrocity agains civilians or against detainees that it is their duty to report are told not to make trouble and just forget about it . The soldier who is told such mass murders of innocent people or of detainees is none of their business they are then left with anger and frustration and feelings of hopelessness.

They are told that to feel anything but hate for the so-called enemy is a sign of weakness.

The Conservative media of Fox News, Politico and the Drudge Report promote the idea that real warriors can kill, wound, or torture the bad guys including even innocent civilians and that to feel shame or disgust over such actions means there is something wrong with the indiviual or with the way soldiers are trained and indoctrinated. So the conservatives would gin up the demonization and dehumanization of the enemy so that one feels nothing but pride after killing, wounding or torturing so-called enemy combatants.

So killing dozens of innocent civilians to get one or two actual combatants under US military/Pentagon/Congress/White House rules is considered a righteous or moral action.

So the conservatives see no correlation between suicides in military and the way in which the Global War On Terror is conducted including the use of torture and murdering civilians and the demonizing and dehumanizing propaganda as taught to soldiers by the army brass.

Army reports grim milestone in troop suicides by Stephanie Gaskell at Politico.com, Aug. 16, 2012

Army suicides hit a new single-month record in July, when 38 active-duty and reserve soldiers took their own lives, according to official figures released Thursday.

The toll, up from 24 in June, prompted a wave of renewed anger and frustration among Pentagon leaders and veterans advocates.

...Army officials said 187 active-duty and reserve soldiers have committed suicide so far in 2012. Last year’s total was 283. Many of the cases are suspected suicides under investigation and have not been officially classified as a suicide, officials say, meaning the eventual final total could be higher or lower. And the numbers Thursday do not include statistics for former service members.

...Gen. Lloyd Austin, the Army’s current vice chief, said the military is focused on trying to reduce the stigma associated with asking for help and address the mental health issues facing U.S. troops after more than a decade of war.

“Suicide is the toughest enemy I have faced in my 37 years in the Army,” Austin said. “And, it’s an enemy that’s killing not just soldiers, but tens of thousands of Americans every year.”

“That said, I do believe suicide is preventable,” he said. “To combat it effectively will require sophisticated solutions aimed at helping individuals to build resiliency and strengthen their life coping skills. As we prepare for Suicide Prevention Month in September, we also recognize that we must continue to address the stigma associated with behavioral health.

Ultimately, we want the mind-set across our force and society at large to be that behavioral health is a routine part of what we do and who we are as we strive to maintain our own physical and mental wellness.”
