Glenn Beck's Hate Project :His" Fellow Travelers"- Bigots ,White Supremacists, Sexist,Racist, Gay Bashers Theocrats etc. Part 7

Sorry Sheriff Joe Arpaio didn't make the cut today maybe tomorrow-

Anyway Hey Glenn Beck After ACORN you are next!!! Joke of the day-

McCarthyism tactics rediscovered & used by Glenn Beck and his Fellow travelers.
Let's begin with a clip of Edward R. Murrow taking on Senator Joseph McCarthy for his unethical underhanded tactics in smearing those who testify before him ie guilt by association and before all the evidence is heard, hearsay evidence, rumors ,past beliefs as opposed to current beliefs etc.

Murrow:McCarthy March 9, 1954
The Edward R. Murrow broadcast answering charges by Sen. Joseph McCarthy

So lets take Glenn Beck on and play his own game against him to show what a corrupt evil person he really is or just a plain old angry bigoted fanatic.

Glenn Beck has helped to get several people to resign from the Obama administration by his underhanded tactics-if you say it enough times it becomes the truth and now ACORN has been tossed under the bus because a handful of employees out of thousands were abusing the system. Odd ACORN received 50 million dollars over a ten year or more period while Haliburton, Blackwater Inc.,Kellog Brown and Root etc, received billions and hundreds of millions are unaccounted for or they underperformed or committed various crimes - This to mister anti-corruption isn't a problem because these are just corporations making as much money as they and it doesn't matter how. Blackwater has been guilty of abusing its powers killing innocent Iraqis, making fraudulent claims to bilk the system, they have muggled illegal weapons into Iraq , the CEO Prince believes he and Blackwater are on a crusade from Jesus to kill all the Muslims-of course none of this bothers Beck becuase he believes this is all part of God's plan this is what his church The Church of Jesus Christ of ltter Day Saints has taught him and has mixed it in with some cracpot conspiracy theories FEMA Death Camps, New World Order, The Anti-Christ, the Gay agenda, The Black agenda, The Hispanic/Latino La Raza Conspiracy, the atheist secular humanists cum Darwinian Islamic conspiracy theory, the Russian/Chinese/Kenyan/Canadian Conspiracy- odd he and the racist White Supremacist Senator Jesse Helms weren't friends- though John McCain Pat Buchanan and Helms hung out when they were supporting South African Apartheid claiming it was the last bastion of Western Culture while giving money and guns to the Contra Mercenaries to destroy Nicaragua.

Mormon Church Jealous of Gay Rights-The Young Turks
Nov. 10, 2008

This is bizarre and a bit disingenuous for Glenn Beck a Mormon criticizing changing the definition of marriage. He fears it could lead to polygamy- well Mormons were all for more than one wife or a dozen but in order to be accepted into the United States they had to stop the practice. This was therefore for pragmatic reasons not some new revelation from Jehovah . Does Beck not know the history of his own church.
Glenn Beck: Gay Marriage Leads to Polygamy

May 12, 2009 on FOX News

In this next clip Glenn Beck says he's not anti-gay with a wink and a nod and he's fine with civil marriages for Gays is probably lying. Once his people are in power there will be no civil marriages or other such arrangement -"your gay you go to Gulag with your Commie/Liberal/Progressive /Perverted atheistic Comrades" I imagine that's what beck is thinking I always imagine him with the little balloon over his head and what he's really thinking.

Anyway because of his associations we can easily see that Beck is just playing the game of trying to sound somewhat reasonable about Gay civil unions when in fact given the power he would deny Gays anything like equal rights and may start jailing them. He wants to promulgate the conspiracy theory that Gays and their progressive fellow travelers want to start censoring what is preached in the Christian and Mormon churches. Megyn Kelly used the segment to make a gratuitous, unfounded attack on Obama. Kelly believes like Beck that Obama is far to the left and is out to create a totalitarian /authoritarian socialist/fascist atheistic Darwinian worshiping state. She also claims that Gays want more rights than heterosexuals this is just an appeal to the Religious Right and people like Tony Perkins. They also make the same claims about African-Americans and Hispanic Americans etc.

Beck's Conspiracy Theory About Gay Marriage
April 13, 2009
Glenn Beck theorizes that gay marriage is about "attacking churches" and going "into the schools." He also claims President Obama has the same "exact stance" on gay marriage.

Glenn Beck & the his 9/12 movement/Tea Party/Freedomworks/ Dick Armey/ Radical Right, Religious Right, The Patriot Movement, The Minutemen and other White Supremacist groups . America as his friend Pat buchana said was founded by White rich men and only they should be permitted to run the country.
America is a Judeo-Christian nation and its laws should reflect this-

Health Care reform is anti-Christian and therefore anti-American so when Beck makes a statement about an issue he may say it in such a way to hide his more fundamentalist and Mormon beliefs. Remember he claims to be a populist which he is not. He's a rich white Christian male who believes in his entitlement . So as Senator McCarthy would say we know him by whom he associates with .If he associates with ultra conservative Christians and the Mormon Church then it follows according to his own logic that he is deliberately hiding his own agenda which the destruction of America as it now stands so that there will only be localized governments as such with a Sheriff as in his hero Sheriff Joe Arpaio and some Mormon or other religious elders and their wealthiest true believers running the show.

What's God got to do with it? Sept. 13, 2009

And here's Glenn Beck with another "fellow traveler" Geert Wilders who is known for his hatred of Islam but also of Arabs and non-Aryans - he has been known to associate with neo-Nazis & other White Supremacists. So Beck uses his belief in Freedom Of Speech to allow Geert Wilders to spew his hatespeech.Geert Wilders was denied entrance to Great Britain and to Canada as someone who engages in Hatespeech which we have laws about. So really Beck is in fact fueling hatred of Islam and of all Non-Whites otherwise why would he have this guy on and he even gives him a hardy handshake and possibly a series of secret signals etc. like the Masons do -( I'm just using Beck's own way of interpreting events)
Glenn Beck interviews Geert Wilders on Islam and the Koran
Feb. 23, 2009

Now we see Beck attacking Muslims in his own rather cunning manner - he begins by saying parenthetically that Keith Ellison wants to cut and run -from Iraq War- and then asks will he tell Beck if as a Muslim-American whether or not he's a good guy or a bad guy and will he denounce Islamic Terrorists- If Ellison were a bad guy would he tell Glenn Beck??? That's just typical of Glenn Beck's loaded questions. Beck also has criticized Ellison of being sworn in on the Quran so can he be trusted .

Glenn Beck Defends His Attack On Keith Ellison
In this clip, Beck actually defends his racist and anti-muslim attack on Keith Ellison and lies about what he actually said. First what he says now, and then what he ACTUALLY said back then.

And on the role the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-Day Saints played in the battle over Proposition 8:

Prop. 8 protesters target Mormon temple in Westwood Gay-rights activists criticize the church for helping to collect millions to aid passage of ban on gay marriage.

More than a thousand gay-rights activists gathered Thursday afternoon outside the Mormon temple in Westwood to protest the role Mormons played in passing Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage in California.

It was the latest in an escalating campaign directed against the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for its role in marshaling millions of dollars in contributions from its members for the successful campaign to take away same-sex marriage rights.

...Members of the Mormon church, who were strongly urged by church leaders to contribute to the Proposition 8 campaign, had an undeniable role in the measure's victory. Opponents of Proposition 8 have accused the church of discriminating against homosexuals, but the backlash against the denomination has also sparked accusations of discrimination.

During the campaign, a website established by Proposition 8 opponents used campaign finance data and other public records to track Mormon political contributions to the Yes-on-8 campaign. Opponents estimated that members of the church had given more than $20 million, but the amount is difficult to confirm since the state does not track the religious affiliation of donors.

Mormon LDS Beliefs Families Forever prop 8-June 8, 2008

Mormons, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, commonly known as the Mormon Church believe that this life is not the end. Through the sealing power performed in the Temple, Mormons believe we can be together with our family forever through Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father sent Jesus Christ to pave the way for us to return to Him. This is the great plan of happiness!

This sickenly sacchrine piece of political and religious propaganda from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints against Gay marriage covers up their basic agenda. Their agenda like many churches especially Evangelical Fundamentalist and conservative Catholics are not merely against Gay marriage. Even if legislation or an amendment were made to the US Constitution protecting equal rights for Gay American citizens and allowed for a recognition of their marriages under the law this would not mean that a church or any religious official would be required by law to perform such marriages or to recognize them in their doctrinal proclamations. So what's the big deal. The concern isthat the Mormon church and others do not want to grant equal rights and protections under the law anymore than they wanted such rights for African-Americans and other non-white or non-Christian citizens or equal rights for female citizens of America.

Listening to Glenn Beck who belongs to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints his anxiety and anger and frustration over liberal and progressives ideas such as equality for all Americans including women, non-whites , non-Christians, Gays and Lesbians and whatever other group he and his church believe not worthy of equal rights becomes easier to understand given its religious context. He like other s in the Radical Right and the Religious Right as Uberconservatives are against such notions as diversity, multiculturalism, multilingualism (Speak American!), religious tolerance is of non-Christian religions which they see as Satanic but all of these ideas including a "Liberal Education" they see as pernicious and as corrupting the nation and as a polluting of the City on The Hill or as an offence to God and The New Jerusalem.

as for his belief or his church's in Freedom of Speeech and freedom of dissent

Silencing internal dissent within The Church of Jesus Christ and the Latter Day Saints

A Mormon Testifies Against Prop 8 in Church

Todd takes a stand against his own LDS Mormon church in a sacrament meeting for there political involvement in Prop 8. Using members cash and pressuring all members to fight against Gays and Lesbians rights.Todd quits the LDS Mormon Church for that reason.

The LDS MORMONS don't want GAY PEOPLE around them they might get contaminated

"We do not intend to admit to our campus any homosexuals. If any of you have this tendency and have not completely abandoned it, may I suggest that you leave the university immediately after this assembly...We do not want others on this campus to be contaminated by your presence." (Ernest Wilkinson, president of Brigham Young University, in a 1965 lecture to the BYU student body, titled: "Make Honor your Standard."

And when Glenn Beck or leaders and spokespersons of his church speak about traditional America and the Founding Fathers and the Holy and Sacred Documents of the Founding Fathers such as The Declaration of Independence, The United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights their reverence for these documents would probably shock many of the Founding Fathers. But be that as it may this reverence and nostalgic view gets mixed in with a religious view with political and practical concerns and sentiments and in effect is as others have noted before that this is a creation of in effect a State Religion where the US Constitution is seen as a continuation from the Bible as being a result of Divine Inspiration and Divine Interference which in effect permitted the creation of the United States of America. Given this according to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints The Book of Mormon being a sacred text is a continuation of the Revelations of God's Creation and His motivations and His spiritual and material plans for Humankind or at least for the Chosen ones of God. Since the Book of Mormon was revealed to the founder of the church Joseph Smith and because this took place according to God's Will and was not a mere accident or coincidence in the United States of America it too is seen as a further Revelation concerning the doctrines and laws of the God Jehovah . Therefore they believe as do many other Christians in America that the United States is the Chosen Nation of God that it is The City on The Hill or the New Jerusalem and therefore this is where Jehovah's Chosen ones make their stand and therefore enshrine the Laws of Jehovah and Jesus Christ in America.

It can then be argued that if any of these Laws of God or as the Reconstructionists and Dominionists call it God Law are breached this is an offense against God and His Church on Earth . Such laws therefore must be obeyed in a strict and most rigid manner possible with no room for quibbling or legal hair-splitting. So one can see that the True Believers whether members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or Uberconservative Evangelical Christians that it is their duty to enforce God's Law throughout not just Utah but all of America and to preach God's Revelations and Laws to the whole world as the Great Commission requires of all Christians including Mormons.

So Glenn Beck and millions of other Americans estimated by Frank Schaeffer for instance at well over 20 million Americans believe in this newer/innovation and interpretation of the Bible from Old Testament to New Testament to the United States Constitution etc. and in the case of Mormons to the Book of Mormon and believe they are commanded by God/Jehovah/Jesus to make America or as much of it as possible into a religious state where local authorities representing the church would enforce the laws that are deemed necessary and a State or Federal government would be limited to certain areas such as national Defense ,raising taxes where or when necessary for that defence and the establishment of international treaties and such where and when necessary.

Given their racist sexist homophobic and their intolerance of other religions the America they dream of and are working tirelessly to create would give favor to a white male property owning class of Christians/Mormons who would rule over the nation as they await the Messiah or the Apocalypse or the Rapture or Armageddon or whatever doctrinal group to which they hold allegiance.

Of course the inclusion of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints could only occur if they and other Christian groups could come to an agreement to form an alliance without giving up any of their doctrinal tenets. We have seen this take place amongst the various Evangelical Fundamentalists and Pentecostals and others over the last 30 years whereby they have been able at times to create massive campaigns to change laws or to make laws or overturn laws they felt were important at least at a symbolic level and thereby forging more alliances and stopping or at least slowing down the evil Satanic liberal forces at work in American society.

So the Church of latter Day Saints/ The Church of Mormon are not just against Gay marriage but would of course be against Gay couples adopting children. Up until 1979 the official Church policy and doctrine concerning African-Americans was that African-Americans were an inferior race which had been cursed by God. But it was not just that they were against allowing African-Americans into their church but in fact they preached against any legal or civil equality for African Americans. In 1979 they changed their policy concerning African-Americans not because they had a new revelation or had come to their senses as they claim. They changed their policy and doctrine concerning African-Americans for financial and political concerns. It was not a matter of doctrinal change but merely pragmatism . Federal government threatened to cut off funding to their university and other federally financed programs etc. if they continued to discriminate against African-Americans. So the change was a calculated financial and political move in the same way as they were forced to give up on their doctrine of polygamy a century earlier. So it is rather disingenuous for the leaders of the Church or its members such as Glenn Beck to preach against any financial aid from the federal or state governments. Other churches in America which were segregated to one degree or another also changed their policies to keep their tax free status and so that the federal or state government would continue to help fund various programs run by these churches including their schools and colleges and to keep their certification.

So it is logical to assume that the Church's concern over Gay Marriage and Gay Rights is also due to certain practical and pragmatic concerns. If California and other state passed legislation allowing for Gay marriages or Gay rights this could eventually lead to Federal legislation or Supreme court rulings defending and insisting that Gays have equal rights with other American citizens. This then could have an affect on the financial situation of the church and of its university, colleges and schools if they continued to discriminate against the Gay community. Again the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints if it continued to discriminate against Gays it might lose its tax exemption as a church and moneys provided to them by the state or Federal government might be terminated. So again the fear is more to do with financial and political realities than with maintaining doctrinal integrity and purity. One could logically assume the same arguments over other issues such as the Equal Rights Amendment which if it were ever passed ( unlikely as Americans do not in general believe in sexual /gender equality) in the United States this might also present some rather difficult financial and political problems for the church.

Mormon Leadership Backs Proposition 8 LDS Members Asked to Support the Measure © Shawn Landis
Aug 24, 2008

The position of the Mormon church is not only that marriage is between one man and one woman, but that the children are entitled to be raised in the bonds of matrimony. Although the church does not back political candidates, it is active in causes it views as moral issues. On June 29, 2008, a letter was read in California Stakes asking members to support any efforts in the state to define marriage as being between one man and one woman.

Some Sanity on the LDS Prop 8 Effort at Dave's Mormon Inquiry.com, Oct. 23,2008

From a surprising source, Andrew Sullivan at the Atlantic Online. After noting that roughly 40% of the Yes on 8 financing has come from LDS contributors, he notes, "It's all legal, and totally within their democratic rights." Thank you, Mr. Sullivan. He doesn't decry LDS participation in the campaign; he doesn't call for any efforts to harass Mormons like the nutjobs over at Daily Kos; he doesn't try to identify and target individual LDS contributors like the people running and supporting the deceptively named Mormons for Proposition 8 site. He ends the short article with a simple suggestion that those who disagree with the LDS position donate to the No on 8 campaign. Bravo for a little online civility in this noisy election season.

“The Family: A Proclamation to the World”, Family Guidebook: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints

In 1995, the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles issued “The Family: A Proclamation to the World.” This proclamation is a declaration and reaffirmation of doctrines and practices that prophets have stated repeatedly throughout the history of the Church. It contains principles that are vital to the happiness and well-being of every family. Family members should study the proclamation and should live by its precepts.

“We, the First Presidency and the Council of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, solemnly proclaim that marriage between a man and a woman is ordained of God and that the family is central to the Creator’s plan for the eternal destiny of His children.

“All human beings—male and female—are created in the image of God. Each is a beloved spirit son or daughter of heavenly parents, and, as such, each has a divine nature and destiny. Gender is an essential characteristic of individual premortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose.

“In the premortal realm, spirit sons and daughters knew and worshiped God as their Eternal Father and accepted His plan by which His children could obtain a physical body and gain earthly experience to progress toward perfection and ultimately realize his or her divine destiny as an heir of eternal life. The divine plan of happiness enables family relationships to be perpetuated beyond the grave. Sacred ordinances and covenants available in holy temples make it possible for individuals to return to the presence of God and for families to be united eternally.

“The first commandment that God gave to Adam and Eve pertained to their potential for parenthood as husband and wife. We declare that God’s commandment for His children to multiply and replenish the earth remains in force. We further declare that God has commanded that the sacred powers of procreation are to be employed only between man and woman, lawfully wedded as husband and wife.

“We declare the means by which mortal life is created to be divinely appointed. We affirm the sanctity of life and of its importance in God’s eternal plan.

“Husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other and for their children. ‘Children are an heritage of the Lord’ (Psalms 127:3). Parents have a sacred duty to rear their children in love and righteousness, to provide for their physical and spiritual needs, to teach them to love and serve one another, to observe the commandments of God and to be law-abiding citizens wherever they live. Husbands and wives—mothers and fathers—will be held accountable before God for the discharge of these obligations.

“The family is ordained of God. Marriage between man and woman is essential to His eternal plan. Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity. Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities. By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities, fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners. Disability, death, or other circumstances may necessitate individual adaptation. Extended families should lend support when needed.

“We warn that individuals who violate covenants of chastity, who abuse spouse or offspring, or who fail to fulfill family responsibilities will one day stand accountable before God. Further, we warn that the disintegration of the family will bring upon individuals, communities, and nations the calamities foretold by ancient and modern prophets.

“We call upon responsible citizens and officers of government everywhere to promote those measures designed to maintain and strengthen the family as the fundamental unit of society” (Ensign, Nov. 1995, 102).
