Okay, that's it, I've had it.
The hate speech, the threats have gotten completely out of hand. And those who have incited viewers and listeners-- and you know who you are Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, etc.-- are responsible for a good part of this horrific activity.
No, it is not "grassroots", not even close. It is a sick, terrifying, dangerous movement toward violence and the worst kind of civil unrest.
The same "party leaders" who get their rocks off by pretending to be macho and exerting their windbaggy, wrongheaded power will one day come to realize that killing is real, not just a word on a Facebook poll, and it's already happened (Dr. Tiller, the census "fed"), and it is final. Real and final.
The only things long and hard about these blowhards (no pun) are their mics. You get rid of those, and these chest-thumping cretins are nothing more than overgrown, uncontrollable, whiny, screeching little toddlers trying to clomp around in grown-up shoes, shoes that they'll never be able to fill. They'll never be men. They are wounded, damaged animals.
Time to tame them. And time to demand that they tame their deranged, diseased herd of blind followers.

1954 David Schine, Senator Joseph McCarthy :The Witch Finder General (Liar & delusional Drunkard & closeted Gay) and the just as infamous extremist and closeted gay Roy Cohn who died from AIDS- their hidden sexuality is noteworthy because sometimes such men as these seem to have a special hate on for Gays and Lesbians & other so called sexual deviants such as some of the more current Republicans and Religious Right leaders who have been as it were caught in the act but Republicans never talk about that -
It should also be noted that in the last eight years or so the Neoconservatives and their fellow travelers in their revisionist re-writing of history now claim McCarthy was a hero even if he did lie and bare false witness and was a drunkard. But we should note the conservative true believers in America are incessantly rewriting history even on a daily basis as they now tell us George W.Bush was not America's worst President but its best and every decision he made was the right one except for trying to get amnesty for undocumented workers.
McCarthy even with his blatantly false accusations of Communist associations or other suspicious activities created an environment of fear and justified paranoia since no one knew who would be next on his list to destroy. Glenn Beck and his media comrades are doing the same thing now and this could at the very least lead to government paralysis.

Drew Pearson immediately launched an attack on Joe McCarthy. He pointed out that only three people on the list were State Department officials. When this list was first published four years ago, Gustavo Duran and Mary Jane Keeney had both resigned from the State Department in 1946. The third person, John Service, had been cleared after a prolonged and careful investigation. Pearson also pointed out that none of these people had been members of the American Communist Party.
Anderson asked Pearson to stop attacking McCarthy: "He is our best source on the Hill." Pearson replied, "He may be a good source, Jack, but he's a bad man."
With the war going badly in Korea and communist advances in Eastern Europe and in China, the American public were genuinely frightened about the possibilities of internal subversion. McCarthy, as chairman of the Government Committee on Operations of the Senate, was in an ideal position to exploit this situation.
For the next two years McCarthy investigated various government departments and questioned a large number of people about their political past. Some people lost their jobs after they admitted they had been members of the Communist Party. McCarthy made it clear to the witnesses that the only way of showing that they had abandoned their left-wing views was by naming other members of the party.

So anyway speaking of Senator Josepth McCarthy or The House Committee on Un-American Activities (HUAC or HCUA,[1] 1938–1975) isn't this what Glenn Beck does looks at every association that one has had or anything that someone has said so one day in 1968 the person said something or other "I hate my country we'd be better off if we followed Mao" . So Beck like his other compatriots in the media are like attack dogs going after those they do not agree with and therefore hate searching out every current or past association or deed or word to toss back at the individual whether it was an off the cuff remark made yesterday or something said twenty or fifty years ago. So every day they go after President Obama and all those he surrounds himself with or those he knew years ago or when he was six such as Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright etc. Sometimes an association can mean something sometimes not so much. I find this such a stupid attitude when it is stretched and used again and again to destroy someone's reputation-since we should be concerned about who this person is now and what they believe etc. This seems to be a very typical and singular issue for Americans who reject intellectualism and cosmopolitanism . For instance any one who attends a large university with a diverse population will have acquaintances and friends from different backgrounds and different religious and political beliefs . Of course conservatives believe one should attend a conservative university where the students and faculty are of one opinion only with of course a little variation whereas a liberal arts universities is supposed to offer a wide range opinions within reason of course but this notion is foreign to conservatives and to many Americans it seems.
Just imagine how insane such allegations sound: President Obama brought before HUAC" Yes didn't you Mr. Obama go to school when you were six with a guy who became a Communists, or a thief, or a serial killer or who now runs a Tim Horton's coffee and donut shop and we Americans know that Tim Horton's is part of the Canadian Conspiracy to destroy traditional American values and the American system of government. and so it goes...
Of course in Beck's case every crazy thing he said before finding God and Mormonism and sobriety he like George Bush could blame it all on his drinking and drug abuse. Well isn't that convenient !
Odd how such people who kick these habits want to put other people in jail for ten or twenty years for similar crimes so the person's claim to wanting to reform means nothing- So instead of developing sympathy and being empathetic they become less sensitive to the problems of others . Their attitude instead is that if they can turn their life around and be successful then others can do the same. They may even secretly believe that because they have more inner strength than most people they were able to do that which should have been impossible and therefore they are special and better than others. They may also become delusional believing that God personally intervened in their life because He, God that is has an important mission for them to carry out so again they are better than others because they have been chosen by God.(one could surmise that probably most American presidents have suffered from such delusional beliefs how else does one explain the War in Iraq, or the Vietnam War or removing elected heads of governments in other countries against the will of the people of that nation ???)
Both Beck and Bush seemed to suffer from this latter notion and so they become bullies with a God Complex believing no one should contradict them because they have a direct line to God or they have by turning their lives around have become a superior force to be recon with.
But as some would argue that Glenn Beck did not necessarily change that much. He still sounds like a selfish self-satisfied arrogant bitter twisted old drunk and drug addict except he happens to no longer drink or do drugs. What some would call a Dry drunk" He has replaced his former addictions to new more socially acceptable ones such as his religion as a Mormon and as a moralizing sermonizing arrogant know it all with little or no compassion for others outside his family and his small circle of friends. He also still seems to suffer from tumultuous mood swings can cry at the drop of a hat or suddenly go into a rage as if he were still an out of control drunk ie screaming at the caller during his radio show to get off my phone or berating and demeaning a guest on his tv show because they don't agree with him or worse they come more prepared than he is with facts and other evidence contradicting his opinion.
Beck does remind me of George W. Bush who had much the same experience when it comes to alcohol and drugs and acting like a nasty bastard til he too found God and became a bully with a Napoleonic complex which he satisfied by becoming the governor of Texas where he was literally God-like in his decision making since with his pardoning power he could decide who was to be legally executed or not .
We've all heard the stories of Governor Bush and his buddies sitting around joking while another person was being executed later he and his friends Cheney and Rumsfeld , & Condoleeza Rice got off on torture ( Whatever gets you through the night I guess- so much for their sanctimoniously Godliness) relishing the fact that because of them dozens or hundreds or even thousands of detainnees were being harassed, tormented, abused and tortured which they could end or start with a single phone call.
Yes Beck is right Hinckley transcended alright since he was able to go from being a proud racist to acting politically correct because the Times were changing and I guess it was hurting the Mormons reputation and their donations.
The other problem with this is that other doctrines which the church teaches may given this precedent also be changed. So as the church once hated black people maybe one day they won't hate Gays (See proposition 8 California)or maybe the church might also come to terms with the government involved in the country's National Public Education system heaven forbid that every American child be entitled to a free education or be given free vaccines or medical help of any kind or that people be decently housed or that during a natural disaster the government help out victims no way says beck F... them all just pray and hope for the best.

Its odd Glenn Beck claims to be so religious yet he is in favor of the death penalty or putting people in prison without any concern for rehabilitating or educating prisoners to reduce their chances of committing more crimes. For instance listening to Glenn Beck talk about "enhanced Interrogation Techniques" he would never say torture but still we know he too relishes the idea of these people whom he hates and despises were being treated in the most inhumane fashion almost unimaginable except that we are unfortunate in having the photographs and the written transcripts but not the videos since the criminals in the Bush administration destroyed them "Accidentally on purpose". Well they need not worry we now know poor Obama has capitulated to the powers that be whoever they are. Besides it would be seen as a direct attack on the American Myth of Exceptionalism and purity in which America can do no wrong. What appears wrong is rather misunderstood til one day its meaning may be revealed by history or God. As God moves in mysterious way so does America.
Anyway if Glenn Beck believes that a person can be criticized for their various associations for instance he and others attacked President Obama for his association with Reverend Wright or with Bill Ayers etc. According to Beck anything someone says or does is a reflection on those who associate with that person. If you have a friend who is a racist, a communist, an anarchist, a liberal, a conservative then you must be a racist , a communist, an anarchist, a liberal etc. Supposedly Americans believe in freedom of association demagogues such as Senator McCarthy and Glenn Beck believe that a person or a politician should be judged by with whom they associate .
So over a year ago Glenn Beck already had his mind made up that Obama was an evil person who would change America into a Communist collectivist state. One should listen carefully because Glenn Beck is really against the government doing anything much beyond defense. So really like other members of the Radical Right and the Religious Right he does not believe in any sort of food safety or environmental safety regulations etc. If a corporation sells you a car and that car is faulty and because of it you get hurt in an accident that shouldn't have happened too bad screw you. So if tobacco companies tell the public that smoking does not cause any serious health problems then we must take their word for it?

In this clip we get a statement from another religious leader who condemns socialism because it is against God's Plan and God's Plan is that the poor shall be with us always and so shall suffer while the Rich and Powerful inherit the Earth and then get to go to heaven while the poor suffer and then go to hell or enter Heaven as slaves for their betters The Pure Rich and powerful.
He also preaches that America has abandoned the ideals and beliefs and economic system promoted by the Founding Fathers.

So we see it is because of his faith in Mormonism that Glenn Beck has such hatred of any public government supported program as being characterized as socialist and which is therefore by his fishy logic is Communism. So Beck is really preaching part of the Gospel and beliefs and dogma of the Mormon Church. So his economic theories are based upon the Book of Mormon as are all of his other out of date social theories about the inferiority of Hispanics and African -Americans.
So Canada and most European countries are by the definition of the Mormon church and its most faithful servant and True Believer Glenn Beck "Communist" & "Collectivist".
So if these countries are Communist and therefore evil and the Pawns Of Satan shouldn't the United States break all ties with these countries or invade them to once again make them pure again ie capitalistic .
Mormons and Beck are against any form of treating all citizens as equal because those who are poor are just too damn lazy or are being punished by God and if they are Black they are doubly cursed.

Two conflicts between the LDS and the the federal government:
The LDS church has had a fascinating and turbulent history. They have had two major conflicts with the federal government.
The first occurred in the mid-19th century when the Mormon practice of polygyny -- a form of polygamy -- was the main reason why statehood for Utah was initially rejected. Six additional refusals followed, between 1849 and 1887. In 1890, as the government was about to seize the assets of the LDS Church, the Prophet received a revelation from God. This was the "Great Accommodation" that changed suspended the practice of polygyny -- a form of polygamy. On 1896-JAN-4, Utah became the 45th state in the union.
Pressure was also felt by the LDS during the 1970's because of the LDS' institutionalized racism. The IRS was threatening to cancel the church's non-profit tax exempt status. University sports teams were refusing to compete in Utah. This pressure was relieved on 1978-JUN-6 when the church received a new revelation from God to end the practice of discrimination against persons of African-American heritage.

In 1969, the House changed the committee's name to "House Committee on Internal Security". When the House abolished the committee in 1975,[2] its functions were transferred to the House Judiciary Committee.
The committee's anti-communist investigations are often confused with those of Senator Joseph McCarthy.[3] McCarthy, as a senator, had no direct involvement with this House committee.[4] McCarthy was the chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations.
Theological foundation for racism in the LDS church:
According to sociologist Amand L. Mauss, a president of the Mormon History Association, the church's racist beliefs originated within protestant denominations from which many Mormons converted. He said in 1998: "Every major Protestant denomination in history has taught that blacks are descendants of Cain and Ham." 1
bullet Cain is described in the book of Genesis of the Hebrew Scriptures (a.k.a. Old Testament) as a son of Adam. Cain was jealous of his brother Abel, because God had rejected Cain's offering, while accepting Abel's. In Genesis 4:8, he is described as having "attacked his brother Abel, and killed him."
bullet Ham is described in Genesis 9 as a son of Noah who had seen his father naked. Ham himself was not punished. But Ham's son, Canaan, was cursed. Genesis 9:25-27:

This became known as the Curse of Ham.

Protestant denominations in the early 19th century interpreted the Bible as implying that the black race was formed from Cain and Abel's descendents. The Curse of Ham was used extensively prior to the Civil War to justify slavery as a biblically condoned, recognized and regulated practice. The abolition movement caused a great deal of distress among Christians because they had to finally reject slavery as profoundly immoral -- a practice which the Bible accepted as a normal aspect of the culture of the Middle East. They had to wrap their minds around the fact that the Bible taught something that was apparently against the will of God. Beliefs of the inferiority of blacks died a slow death among the leading denominations: Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, etc.
However, the LDS church was an exception. The Pearl of Great Price is one of four source texts that are accepted by Mormons as divinely inspired and authoritative scripture --the "Standard Works." The Pearl had specifically prohibited the ordination of anyone who was black or who had even one distant black ancestor. Its teachings could not be easily altered.
Another inspired scripture, according to the LDS, is the Book of Mormon. It discusses the Lamanite race, and how they received dark skins and a degenerate status as punishment:
2 Nephi 5:21-23:
"And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were white, and exceedingly fair and delightsome, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did cause a skin of blackness to come upon them."

In 2 Nephi 30:6, the the Book of Mormon as originally translated (or written; opinions differ) by Joseph Smith said that if Lamanites accepted the true gospel,
"...their scales of darkness shall begin to fall from their eyes; and many generations shall not pass away among them, save they shall be a white and a delightsome people."
After 1981, the term "white and delightsome" was changed to read "pure" -- an unusual action for a book considered to be inspired by God in its original version. 2
3 Nephi 2:15 reads:
"And their curse was taken from them, and their skin became white like unto the Nephites." 2
