So with the shooting incident by a White Supremacist anti-Semite I've had to update this post as a result of this shooting incident at the Holocaust museum in Washington this ratchets up the violence from the right whose rhetoric is being turned into action .
Words Do Have consequences.
The more the right, the Conservatives, the Religious Right, & their Media echo chamber & the Holier Than Thou Republican Party ratchets up their incendiary rhetoric telling their already angry & somewhat fearful & paranoid base that President Obama is destroying America & has some sort of nefarious secret agenda there is probably more violence to come.
But the right will make their excuses while talking about how they want Obama & his policies to fail & that they & their followers or listeners should do everything possible to ensure Obama's policies fail - though after each act of violence they condemn the action but then go on to say ( see Beck, O'Reilly, Randall Terry, Ann Coulter etc.) they will still not change their rhetoric or stop their fear mongering & knowingly promulgating misinformation & even lies about Obama just to stir up their violent prone paranoid base.

When the Department of Homeland Security issued a report warning of potential violence by "right-wing extremists," the right-wingers of the internet were enraged. Then some right-wing extremists started killing people.
Three—three!—political shootings by right-wing extremists does actually make a trend, mostly because it's not accidental that the crazies are turning violent now. Right-wing domestic terror, weirdly, spikes when the right-wing media step up the intensity and violence of their rhetoric—which they happen to do when Democrats are in charge. Hey, remember Oklahoma City? Guess what: now we don't just have a regular Democrat president, we have a black man who is a secret Muslim! Sean Hannity and Dick Cheney and Bill O'Reilly tell the nuts that the nation is literally in danger because a terrorist has stolen the White House. So what happens then?
What happens is Scott Roeder, the Kansas resident who murdered Dr. George Tiller at church because he was an anti-abortion fanatic with ties to, hey, a right-wing extremist group.
There was Jim Adkisson, who shot up a Unitarian church, killing two, because he hated liberals and gays.
And now there is the White Supremacist who just shot up the goddamn Holocaust Museum. He is, of course, named "James Von Brunn," and he is 89 years old! And, obviously, he writes crazy things, on the internet. He is also a World War II vet? For the Allies!
...So, yes, maybe this is the sort of person the Department of Homeland Security should be keeping an eye on? As long as that doesn't offend Michelle Malkin!

It would be easy for us to cordon Poplawski off, pretend that his ugly and paranoid worldview had nothing to do with the Obama hatred spouted by the American right. But the truth is that Poplawski's hateful views cannot be separated from the increasingly extreme ideology and rhetoric that characterize the contemporary American conservative movement. As his friend, Edward Perkovic, told the Associated Press, Poplawski feared "the Obama gun ban that's on the way" and "didn't like our rights being infringed upon."
Such obsessions don't come out of a vacuum. Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and the GOP have been whipping up hatred and fear of Obama and "liberal Democrats" for years. Joined by the National Rifle Association, which has run false and irresponsible ads claiming that Obama is planning to take away Americans' guns, they have encouraged and helped to create a pathological right-wing subculture in which free-floating hatred of "the government" mixes with a maniacal fetish for guns. Poplawski is the diseased fruit of that ugly tree.

As far back as 1982, we learned that anywhere from 5 to 20 percent of all criminals commit approximately 80 percent of all (non-drug related) crimes. When a criminal like Scott Roeder establishes a clear pattern of violent and destructive behavior he cries out to be "profiled" by the police. Especially in an era when people like William James O'Reilly (whose Fox TV producers engage in their own form of stalking) demonize the legal conduct of doctors like George Tiller. (O'Reilly's smirking self-righteousness cannot mask the fact that he's helped inflame the passions and harden the criminal resolve of the fixated edges of the anti-reproductive rights movement.)
It's heartening to note that Attorney General Eric Holder has dispatched U.S. Marshals to abortion clinics across the country in order to provide an extra measure of protection and security.
But why does it take yet another killing to spur responsible law enforcement action?
