Newt Gingrich: " the ACLU is a hateful organization dedicated to driving God out of America...today we are surrounded by Paganism & Paganism is on the offensive"
& Ann Coulter chimes in on the 36th anniversary of Roe v Wade : "49 million to five" June 3,2009 at World Net Daily.com
"In that same 36 years, more than 49 million babies have been killed by abortionists. Let's recap that halftime score, sports fans: 49 million to five."
Is Ann Coulter hoping for more violence or just being dismissive over the fact that a mere five doctors have been assassinated???
God, Church & Guns-
Pastor praying for Dr Tiller's Death his prayers answered
-Now he is praying for Obama's Death
Revenge sought for the 40 million aborted fetuses
Pro-Choicers UnAmerican / anti-American & Traitors butchering millions of fellow Americans ( by way of abortions)
Newt Gingrich & Mike Huckabee & Conservative Movement & The Religious Right re-making the Republican Party into the Christian Fundamentalist Party with the aim of creating a Theocracy -Fox News says Praise The Lord !!!
According to the Religious Right & Christian Fundamentalists the freedom to own Guns is a right which comes from God. As you recall Jesus said in The Sermon On The Mount": " Blessed are the gun owners & the war mongers " sorry he didn't say that but Evangelical Fundamentalist appear to view the Sermon on the Mount as purposely misinterpreted by Christian Liberals and so therefore they are not real Christians since they may also be against unnecessarily invading countries killing hundreds of thousands of people & even torturing & abusing prisoners. As Pastor John Hagee & others remind us that according to them Jesus favored the rich over the poor & the bully over the meek. And God they tell us guided the creation of America as the New Promised Land or the New Jerusalem or "The City on the Hill" to which all other nations were to bow down to. But doesn't that smack of idolatry or blasphemy ?
U.S. Conservative Christians Love Their Guns -Bring Your Guns to Church
Pastor encourages guns in church is he preparing his congregation to resist in case the government begins to pass & enforce new Gun Control legislation in the United States. Is he sending a not so subtle message to Obama to not dare touch their guns.
After all Gun ownership is a God Given Right which no man can take away.Bad enough they are not permitted to "lynch" anyone these days without getting into trouble or at least have to go through some form of sham trial in which the defendants who did the "lynching" get released anyway.
And here's another Pastor inciting violence & murder through prayer .
Pastor Wiley Drake Prays For Obama's Death -He is thankful that the murder of Dr. Tiller answered his prayers
He believes that more of these prayers will be answered in the near future. Is he merely suggesting there will be more violence & assassinations or does he know something which would make him a person of interest to the FBI & Homeland Security. So as conservatives argue arrest him & hold him indefinitely & if necessary torture him to get the necessary intel.
The Religious Right & their Media spokespersons believe that God demans revenge for abortions & they claim Pro-Choice advocates are unAmerican & are Traitors who should be silenced one way or another meanwhile Obama suggest making friends with these Religious Fanatics who dream of a Christian Theocracy.

Newt Gingrich: " the ACLU is a hateful organization dedicated to driving God out of America...today we are surrounded by Paganism & Paganism is on the offensive"
Gingrich who knows better but is playing to his audience & so ignoring " The Separation of Church & State"- the ACLU is not shutting down churches or preventing people from reading their Bibles or other Holy Books at home or in the Church or Synagogue or Mosques or Temples etc. But it is like their hyped Faux War on Christmas which does not exist but plays well to certain audience which is a large part of the Republican base. Or their promulgating the lies that Obama is out to take everybody's gun away or that he is a secret Muslim etc.
Obama needs to be reminded that these new Evangelical Christian Fundamentalists are anti-Democratic, anti-tolerance, anti-multicultualism or pluralism & against any notions of compromise which they see as making compromises with Satan. Those on the Religious Right get upset when Obama or any other politician shows some respect for other peoples Holy Books or Religious beliefs . They want Obama to in no uncertain terms tell the people of the world that there is only one religion which is true that is Christianity.
Evangelists such as Lou Engle have called for Christian Martyrdom in response to the deaths by abortion of some 40 million babies in his view coldly & wantonly murdered
avenger of blood- Lou Engle you may remember from the documentary "Jesus Camp" These people are bloody Scary
Newt Gingrich and Mike Huckabee endorsed by pro-Christian martyrdom movement leader.
Christian Martyr Movement Leader Blesses Gingrich & Huckabee by Bruce Wilson , at Huff Post, June 7, 2009
On Friday, June 5, 2009, at an event featuring aspiring politicians Mike Huckabee and Newt Gingrich that was broadcast over the global media networks of GodTV, a rising leader in the rapidly reconfiguring Christian right who has publicly called for acts of Christian martyrdom prayed over and blessed Huckabee and Gingrich: The Call founder Lou Engle.
The June 5, 2009, Rock Church event has received some media notice but coverage -which has noted Newt Gingrich declared Americans are "surrounded by paganism", and that he and Mike Huckabee made stump speeches calling for Christian conservatives to become more involved in electoral politics- has almost wholly missed the significance.
Leaders on the Christian right have been giving such speeches for decades, but the two-day Rock Church conference was not business as usual. Rather, it showcased the rapid reconfiguration of the Christian right around the rising, highly militant but poorly understood charismatic wing of the new Christian right, a movement which includes both Ted Haggard and Sarah Palin.)
One point of the spear for the new Christian right is an intense, raspy-voiced man who presided over the June 5, 2009 Rock Church event, layed hands on Mike Huckabee, and pledged the commitment of his prayer warriors to Huckabee and Gingrich was Lou Engle, founder of TheCall - which played a significant role in the push to pass the anti-gay marriage Proposition Eight in the lead up to the November 4, 2008 presidential election.
Only days before Huckabee and Gingrich received Lou Engle's endorsement at Rock Church, on Sunday May 31, 2009, late-term abortion doctor George Tiller was gunned down in the lobby of his Wichita, Kansas church. The next morning CBS's Jeff Glor reported, "We did speak with the accused shooters' ex-wife yesterday. She said she was not surprised this happened and that she believed Roeder wanted to be a martyr for the cause."
The November 1, 2008 The Call San Diego event was the capstone event for the pro-Proposition Eight, anti-gay marriage push in California prior to the November 4, 2008 presidential election. Towards the end of the event, which attracted an estimated 30,000 attendees to San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium despite sweltering heat, The Call founder Lou Engle, and his disciple Eddie Brown, as captured in footage taken at TheCall San Diego by documentary film-maker Michael W. Wilson made calls, from onstage before thousands of impassioned followers, for acts of Christian martyrdom. Engle has in the recent past declared that decades of legalized abortion since Roe v. Wade have incurred a blood debt which demands to be paid in blood.
...As Max Blumenthal notes in a piece today on The Daily Beast, the event was bankrolled by prominent dominionists - including the notorious Christian Reconstructionist Harold F. Ahmanson. This connection illustrates the ways in which Christian right leaders from radically different theological perspectives routinely find common ground in the dominionist mandate to "purify the nation" through political means.
The "call" of the title was to spiritual warfare - to "break the 40-year Berkeley rebellion" (a reference to what they see as the rampant spread of secular values following the Berkeley protests of the 1960s) and to cleanse the city of San Francisco. Engle's apocalyptic battle cry, "As California goes, so goes the nation" was the underlying theme of the event - if the "sanctity of marriage" falls in the trendsetting state of California, the nation won't be far behind. The crowd was reminded by Engle, James Dobson, Tony Perkins and others of a Christian right maxim: the traditional family structure forms the foundation of a Godly society and to undermine it is to join forces with the Antichrist.
Toward the end of the night, the stakes were raised when an increasingly agitated Engle and a young campus leader from UC-San Diego called the crowd to ready themselves for martyrdom. The 20,000 or so who remained in the stadium after 12 hours of spiritual warfare seemed all too willing to comply.
* Engle stated here his belief that the spirit of Minerva (Roman goddess of warriors, poetry, wisdom and medicine) controls the state of California.
The Call: Spiritual Warfare In The Field of Martyrs by Michael W. Wilson at Talk To Action, Nov. 4, 2008 - To die for God's Word & God's Will is something to desire-Propositon 8 if passed in California is more dangerous than Islamic Extremism- these are absolutists or as I have said before 100 percenters who believe they have been clled by God to in their view re-Christianize America run by True Believing Born-Again Evangelical Fundamentalists.
And a comment from the Young Turks -Cenk Uygur in case you missed it.
