Sharia (Arabic شريعة Šarīʿa; [ʃaˈriːʕa], "way" or "path") is the sacred law of Islam. Muslims believe Sharia is derived from two primary Sources of Islamic law; namely, the divine revelations set forth in the Qur'an, and the sayings and example set by the Islamic Prophet Muhammad in the Sunnah. Fiqh ("jurisprudence") interprets and extends the application of Sharia to questions not directly addressed in the primary sources by including secondary sources.Sharia is important for our purposes to understand because the anti-Muslin faux scholars such as Robert Spencer, Pam Geller, Daniel Pipes ET AL would have us believe that Sharia Islamic law is acted upon in the same way in all Islamic societies.
These secondary sources usually include the consensus of the religious scholars embodied in ijma, and analogy from the Qur'an and Sunnah through qiyas. Shia jurists replace qiyas analogy with 'aql, or "reason".
All Muslims believe Sharia is God's law, but differ as to what exactly it entails. Modernists, traditionalists and fundamentalists all hold different views of Sharia, as do adherents to different schools of Islamic thought and scholarship. Different countries and cultures have varying interpretations of Sharia as well.
But in fact interpretations of Sharia 's applications differ as do the punishments so not all Muslims agree that an offense is either a public matter or that it is a serious criminal offense or that even if criminal may be dealt with in various ways so for instance not all such societies punish adultery by stoning or beheading or even incarceration . For instance in the United States no one called for having President Clinton imprisoned or executed for his extramarital affair.
But not long ago in our society adulterers were imprisoned as were homosexuals . While at other times in our society a man murdering his adulterous spouse often was given a light or no sentence because it was a matter of honor and a so-called "Crime of Passion" (Love made him do it) Now not so much he's still considered a murderer so he would have to prove it was not premeditated cold murder or that he was temporarily insane or other mitigating circumstances etc. Or now when a woman kills her spouse if it is committed as a result of abuse then this is taken into account and she is given a fairly light sentence or none but this wasn't always the case no such reasoning was permitted.

Once again Robert Spencer trash Islam as if he were some sort of independent objective scholar he sees nothing good in the religion of Islam or its various cultures . Claims Muslim men are permitted to beat their wives . So its the old So have you stopped beating your wife yet conundrum.And of course Christians never beat or have beaten their wives . Spousal abuse in our society was at times ignored or was considered legal but it is only the last forty years or so that it has become unacceptable and illegal and is a criminal offense yet even now it is not always pursued by authorities as much as it should be.There was a family court judge for instance in this province about 20 years ago who during spousal abuse cases would lecture women about being obedient wives when he was supposed to be ruling on these women's cases of being physically abused by their husbands. He would then refer to the Bible to prove these women had no right to complain let alone take their husbands to court. People in his court reported he would stop the recording of the proceedings while preaching the Word to these poor women who had come to him as victims and he victimized them once again.
It's like ignoring the horrors that have taken place in Christian churches that is the physical , mental and sexual abuse of children by Catholic Priests or Evangelical pastors or leaders of Mega-churches. These pedophiles committed these horrendous crimes but the Catholic Priests especially could count on a conspiracy silence and coverup by Bishops, Archbishops and the Vatican and the Pope yet should we all now fear or hate all Catholics or all Catholic Priests. The Churches silence in the end does more damage to the Church than if they had dealt more justly on the part of their parishoners.

Over 4,000 people gathered in central Stockholm on Monday to demonstrate for diversity and against racism, with the anti-immigrant Sweden Democrats in focus as the party took its place in parliament for the first time.
The demonstrators gathered on Sergels Torg in central Stockholm to listen to speeches and then began a march towards Sweden’s parliament, the Riksdag, on Myntorget.
Behind the demonstration were the anti-racism groups the “September Alliance”, Stockholm’s anti-racist culture association, and various Facebook groups, with speeches held by, among others, Left Party leader Lars Ohly.
Similar, if smaller, demonstrations were held across the country on Monday evening.
The demonstration was a repeat of the massive spontaneous turnout on the day after the Swedish general election, which left the Sweden Democrats with 5.7 percent of the vote and 20 seats in parliament.

Palestinians yesterday accused Jewish settlers of setting fire to a West Bank mosque and scrawling "revenge" in Hebrew on its walls, a provocative move that will heighten tensions amid faltering peace talks.
Vandals broke into the mosque and set it alight early yesterday in Beit Fajjar, a village near Bethlehem. The blaze destroyed several copies of the Koran and prayer rugs. Palestinian witnesses alleged the fire was the work of nearby Jewish settlers, who they saw torching the mosque before speeding off in a white car.
A small and extremist core of settlers has targeted Palestinian property over the past year when they consider that their own interests have been hit by Israeli government actions. The settlers' campaign is aimed at dissuading the Israeli government from reining in expansion of West Bank Jewish settlements, which are illegal under international law. The attack, the third such incident in less than a year, comes as Washington ramps up the pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to extend an expired 10-month settlement freeze in the occupied West Bank to try to stop the Palestinians from walking away.

Settlers Replace Korans Burnt in West Bank
Settlers on Tuesday gave new copies of the Koran to Palestinians in a West Bank village whose mosque was burned in an attack blamed by Palestinians on settlers.
Several copies of Islam’s holy book were scorched in the arson attack and threats in Hebrew were scrawled on the wall of the mosque of Beit Fajjar early on Monday.
The village sits on the edge of the Jewish settlement bloc of Gush Etzion.
Suspicion immediately fell on settlers opposed to a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians, in which some settlements could be turned over to a Palestinian state.
“This visit is to say that although there are people who oppose peace, he who opposes peace is opposed to God,” said Rabbi Menachem Froman, a well-known peace activist and one of a handful of settlers who went to Beit Fajjar to show solidarity with their Muslim neighbors.
Froman and other Jews and Palestinians who advocate coexistence held a demonstration by a busy West Bank highway junction, displaying banners saying: “We all want to live in peace.” But fewer than 20 people turned out.
“I would like to see more people come to events like this,” said Aharon Frasier, a young American-born rabbi from a nearby settlement who wanted to express his “strong objections” to an attack that contradicts Jewish values.
“We can’t leave it to the politicians. We have to do what we believe in” to build peace and security, he said.

When Israeli security forces prevented Beit Fajjar Palestinians from joining what was supposed to be their joint demonstration, Palestinians youths began throwing stones at the
troops, who fired tear-gas in response.
No injuries were reported.
One ultra-Orthodox young Jewish bystander seemed baffled by the demonstration. “A demonstration against the burning of the mosque?” he asked reporters. “Have the settlers all turned left-wing?”
Robert Spencer pays no attention to Time Magazine in depth expose on home grown non-Muslim Terrorists why? the article at Islamophobia Today asks then answers well of course not because these dangerous militias soverigist patriot groups are not Muslim . But some might argue that this goes deeper in the sense that Robert Spencer and other American Islamophobes themselves have demonized the Obama administration and often make the suggestion that Obama is sympathetic to Islamic terrorists and may even be a secret Muslim see Pam Geller for instance. These Islamophobes are angry and upset because the Obama administration so far has refused to buy into their basic Islamic Conspiracy theory in which all Muslims in their opinion are part of. Therefore they believe Obama should declare war not just against Islamic extremist terrorists organizations and Muslim lone-gunmen but rather against Islam and all Muslims. They argue that since the Palestinians who are Arab-Muslims who are at war with Isral that the United States and all Western Nations should therefore be at war with the Palestinians not just Hamas and they should be at war with all Arabs and all Muslims.
What Robert Spencer and the anti-Muslim mob want is at the least a marginalization and segregation of Muslims in America and in all Western nations they believe Muslims should not have the same rights as other citizens. They believe that there should be a halt to letting any more Muslims into the West and then as Geert Wilders the leader of the Danish anti-immigrant political party ironically called "The Party For Freedom" has said encourage them to return to their nations of origin. At the moment in Europe this is what is happening to the Roma aka Gipsies who have for centuries been misunderstood, maligned, stereotyped, distrusted,despised and hated who once again have become scapegoats during this troubling time when European economies are imploding and anti-immigrant movements are on the rise.
As in Germany during the 1920s to 1930s when the Nazis promulgated their own German/Aryan Mythology and chose the Jews and the Roma and others as the "Enemy " of the state, the people, the Volk (Folk) as Leo Strauss would say doing what leaders are supposed to do which is to create a myth to shape reality. But besides the drama of the Myth there must also be an enemy or enemies against whom the citizens in a state can be united to fight against. Elsewhere in Mein Kampf Hitler speaks of the "creator of the universe" and "eternal Providence." He also states his belief that the Aryan race was created by God, and that it would be a sin to dilute it through racial intermixing. Hitler writes:

On the other hand these "Others" the Jews, Roma, Communists, Homosexuals, liberals ,Slavs and other ethnic religious or ideologically corrupt groups were the polluters of the German Homeland. It is then easy to see why these current anti-Muslim racist for instance have taken the side of the Serbian Orthodox and deny that the Serbs committed atrocities and that Slobodan Milošević ET AL had been thinking and planning for years to create a Greater Serbia and to oust all non-Serbian Orthodox including Muslims and Jews, Albanians , Croats etc. (see Heavenly Serbia)
We can also deduce from the writings of the Islamophobes who are for the most part Pro-Zionists including Christian Zionists such as Pastor Haggee who is the founder and National Chairman of the Christian-Zionist organization CUFI:Christians United for Israel insists that Israel must be once again purified and that therefore it is absolutely imperative that all Non-Jews be ousted one way or another from Eretz Israel . So if Serbia and Eastern Europe and Western Europe oust all of these foreign poisonous elements then Europe can once again become pure again in the eyes of God. (Of course there are minor details to work out in regards to European Jews - if all Jews go to the New expanded improved Israel - what Spencer and others should keep in mind is that this purging of Muslims may not end there and that the more extremist elements whom he and others are now courting may then go after other groups .
It may appear unfair to expect Robert Spence to speak out about any and all actions or articles exposing non-Muslim Domestic (American) terrorists but isn't this what he says about Moderate Muslims that they should speak out and condemn publicly every time a Muslim terrorists commits a criminal act. Each time such an act is committed Spencer and others keep asking where are the voices of Muslims who are against these acts of terrorists. And yet as others such John L. Esposito and others point out Muslim Americans and Muslims around the world do publicly raise their voices against such horrible unjustified attacks but in fact these statements by Muslims are ignored. Muslims complain that such stories are buried by the media and are not played up the way they should be because it undermines the fear factor and the accepted media narrative that Islam is either an evil religion or that it is not a real religion but rather an ideology which supports the creation of a world wide Totalitarian Islamic state which will enforce the harshest, most barbaric forms of Sharia.

In May, Georgia militia member Darren Huff was arrested by Tennessee state troopers after telling them that he and other armed men intended to “take over the Monroe County courthouse,” free Fitzpatrick and “conduct arrests” of other officials, according to Huff’s indictment and his own account in an interview posted online. Investigators are keeping a wary eye on a related trend, which has yet to progress beyond words, in which law officers and military service members vow to refuse or resist orders they deem unconstitutional. About a dozen county sheriffs and several candidates for sheriff in the midterm elections have threatened to arrest federal agents in their jurisdictions.
One of these “Patriots,” as many of them call themselves, was even a “Dirty Bomber,” like Jose Padilla. His name was James Cummings, and after he was shot to death by his wife, chilling details emerged about his deeds and intentions:
Amber Cummings, then 31, shot her husband James, 29, to death, dropped the Colt .45 revolver and walked to a neighbor’s to dial 911. Evidence of her torment at the dead man’s hands during years of domestic abuse would later persuade a judge to spare her a prison sentence.
On the day of the shooting, Dec. 9, 2008, the story she told and an initial search of the house brought an FBI forensic team running. James Cummings appeared to have accumulated explosive ingredients and radioactive samples. He had filled out an application to join the National Socialist Movement and declared an ambition to kill the President-elect.

A much more sobering picture emerged from the dead man’s handwritten notes and printed records, some of which were recently made available to TIME. Fresh interviews with principals in the case, together with the documents, depict a viciously angry and resourceful man who had procured most of the supplies for a crude radiological dispersal device and made some progress in sketching a workable design. In this he was far ahead of Jose Padilla, the accused al-Qaeda dirty-bomb plotter, and more advanced in his efforts than any previously known domestic threat involving a dirty bomb. Cummings spent many months winning the confidence of online suppliers, using a variety of cover stories, PayPal accounts and shipping addresses. He had a $2 million real estate inheritance and spent it freely on his plot.

Maine state police detective Michael McFadden, who participated in the investigation throughout, says he came to believe that James Cummings posed “a legitimate threat” of a major terrorist attack. “When you’re cooking thorium and uranium under your kitchen sink, when you have a couple million dollars sitting in the bank and you’re hell-bent on doing something, I think at that point you become someone we want to sit up and pay attention to,” he says. “If she didn’t do what she did, maybe we would know Mr. Cummings a lot better than we do right now.”
The article is a must read. It is a frightening look into the world of America’s other homegrown terrorists, who are just as – if not much, much more – dangerous than the Faisal Shahzads and Nidal Malik Hassans.
Yet, there is one person who, apparently, does not pay attention to such things: why, the “Scholar” Robert Spencer. A look at his website revealed no such mention of the TIME investigation, even though it made national news. I mean, he is so quick to jump on any news of potential terrorist plots, or criminal acts committed by Muslims all across the world. In fact, he even reports on terrorist plots by Muslims and then fails to mention that the perpetrators had no religious motivation.
But, this time, there is not one peep from Spencer about these militia groups, not even about America’s own “Dirty Bomber,” who was
far ahead of Jose Padilla, the accused al-Qaeda dirty-bomb plotter, and more advanced in his efforts than any previously known domestic threat involving a dirty bomb.
Why would this be? Why the silence, Mr. Spencer? (Psst: they’re not Muslims!)
