FOX NEWS proselytizes for Evangelical Christianity while denigrating other religions such as Islam , Buddhism etc.
FOX NEWS now the God Channel- they know what God wants & God said Tiger Woods should drop Buddhism in favor of in their view the only Real Religion Christianity. So Fox News is now in the business of giving "Spiritual Advice".
Brit Hume Proselytizing for Jesus & Christianity on FOX NEWS as if Christianity were the only true religion. So he goes on to show disdain for Buddhism and all other religions. As a Buddhist I don't know whether to be amused or insulted. The people on Fox News (and Kids )say the darndist/funniest things.
Tiger Woods Must Become Christian To Be Forgiven - Brit Hume, Fox News recommends.
Tiger Woods, born Eldrick Tont Woods on 30 December 1975, is one of the most successful professional golfers. He earned an estimated $110 million from winnings and endorsements in 2008. Woods has won 14 professional major golf championships, and 71 PGA Tour events. Tiger Wood's mother, Kultida "Tida" Woods (nee Punsawad), born 1944, was of mixed African American, Chinese and Native American ancestry with roots in Thailand, China and The Netherlands. He grew up in Organce County, California and turned professional in 1996. Woods married former Swedish model Elin Nordegren on 05 October 2004. Woods has said he "believes in Buddhism... Not every aspect, but most of it". He donated US $3,000,000 to the Haitian quake victims in January 2010.
President Obama and President Bush before him claimed the "War On Terror " was not a "War on Islam" or a Christian crusade yet over and over again we find incidences in the statements of public figures whether politicians or religious leaders that in fact as far as they are concerned it is a Crusade to wipe out Islam. (See Pat Robertson, Pastor Joh Hagee, Ann Coulter,Michelle Bachmann, Michelle Malkin, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Newt Gingrich, Pam Geller, Robert Spencer, Andrew Bostom, Sarah Palin , Brigitte Gabriel ,Nonie Darwish, Shoebat, and Fox News and so on and so forth.
The US Crusaders:Crusade -Marines Have Secret Bible Verses on Gun Sights !!!!
ABC News
Fox News makes fun of those who are making a fuss about Bible passages references on the sights of rifles sold to the US military. They believe these critics are anti-Christian and may even be on the side of the Muslim terrorists. Fox like the rest of the Conservative and Evangelical Christian movement is against the principle of the Separation of Church and State. They believe that America's values are superior to other nations because it is a Christian nation. As we have seen time and again the media stars on Fox News are anti-diversity or multiculturalism and that those who are not Christian should have no say over public policies . This just fits in with anti-Gay, anti-Islam anti-feminist bigotry. So if Muslim Americans or other Americans are offended by Christian messages on rifles or on Fox News etc. that's just too bad!!!
Fox News defends use of Biblical passages on rifle sights
Far too many Americans see nothing wrong in putting references to the Bible on the sights of rifles nor do they see any problem with the aggressive proselytizing by Evangelical Christians in the military from the top ranks on down or proselytizing to a captive audience such as the people in Iraq Afghanistan or anywhere else US troops are stationed. They believe America is and has always been a Christian nation from the time of the first colonists to Americas War of Independence to the present. They like the teli-Evangelists and other Evangelical fundamentalists believe this current era of so called diversity and multiculturalism and tolerance for other faiths is an era which shall soon pass and America can return to its basic fundamental beliefs and laws which reflect Biblical Christian values.
"U.S. Military Weapons Inscribed With Secret 'Jesus' Bible Codes Pentagon Supplier for Rifle Sights Says It Has 'Always' Added New Testament References "By JOSEPH RHEE, TAHMAN BRADLEY and BRIAN ROSS
Jan. 18, 2010 "ABC News " — Coded references to New Testament Bible passages about Jesus Christ are inscribed on high-powered rifle sights provided to the United States military by a Michigan company, an ABC News investigation has found.
The sights are used by U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and in the training of Iraqi and Afghan soldiers. The maker of the sights, Trijicon, has a $660 million multi-year contract to provide up to 800,000 sights to the Marine Corps, and additional contracts to provide sights to the U.S. Army.
U.S. military rules specifically prohibit the proselytizing of any religion in Iraq or Afghanistan and were drawn up in order to prevent criticism that the U.S. was embarked on a religious "Crusade" in its war against al Qaeda and Iraqi insurgents
One of the citations on the gun sights, 2COR4:6, is an apparent reference to Second Corinthians 4:6 of the New Testament, which reads: "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."
Other references include citations from the books of Revelation, Matthew and John dealing with Jesus as "the light of the world." John 8:12, referred to on the gun sights as JN8:12, reads, "Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
Trijicon confirmed to ABCNews.com that it adds the biblical codes to the sights sold to the U.S. military. Tom Munson, director of sales and marketing for Trijicon, which is based in Wixom, Michigan, said the inscriptions "have always been there" and said there was nothing wrong or illegal with adding them. Munson said the issue was being raised by a group that is "not Christian." The company has said the practice began under its founder, Glyn Bindon, a devout Christian from South Africa who was killed in a 2003 plane crash.
"It's wrong, it violates the Constitution, it violates a number of federal laws," said Michael "Mikey" Weinstein of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, an advocacy group that seeks to preserve the separation of church and state in the military.
"It allows the Mujahedeen, the Taliban, al Qaeda and the insurrectionists and jihadists to claim they're being shot by Jesus rifles," he said.
Weinstein, an attorney and former Air Force officer, said many members of his group who currently serve in the military have complained about the markings on the sights. He also claims they've told him that commanders have referred to weapons with the sights as "spiritually transformed firearm[s] of Jesus Christ."
He said coded biblical inscriptions play into the hands of "those who are calling this a Crusade."
According to a government contracting watchdog group, fedspending.org, Trijicon had more than $100 million in government contracts in fiscal year 2008. The Michigan company won a $33 million Pentagon contract in July, 2009 for a new machine gun optic, according to Defense Industry Daily. The company's earnings from the U.S. military jumped significantly after 2005, when it won a $660 million long-term contract to supply the Marine Corps with sights.
"This is probably the best example of violation of the separation of church and state in this country," said Weinstein. "It's literally pushing fundamentalist Christianity at the point of a gun against the people that we're fighting. We're emboldening an enemy."
Fox News & Fox and Friends still exploiting the case of the Christian convert from Islam Rifqa Barry.
Fox News etc. is also joined by a number of anti-Islam groups and individuals in their defense of Rifqa including Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch and Pam Gellar of Atlas Shrugs (a pro-Ayn Rand site)and the supposedly apostate Muslims such as Noona Darwish etc.
They and other champions of the Rifqa Barry case are more interested in smearing Islam than in their espoused concern for this young girl. Would they show the same interest if Rifqa had converted from Islam not to Christianity but to Hinduism, Sikhism, Taoism, Buddhism, or Krishna Consciousness or Scientology or some Pagan religion such as WICCA.
And one wonders what they would have to say if Rifqa had been brought up by strict Bible believing Evangelical Christians who restricted her movements made her wear only clothes they saw as fit-ie long skirts and dresses , no jeans or micro skirts- made her pray for several hours each day & used corporal punishment on her spankings or whippings. Evangelicals for instance even tell fathers and husbands not only to discipline their children but also their wives .So if Rifqa had run away from such a home or had been kicked out because she dared question her parents religious beliefs would all these pro-Christians have pity on her or her parents. For if she were forced to return to such a home wouldn't it be unjust as the psychological, spiritual and physical abuse would continue and even be ramped up. But the point is according to these Islamophobes is that no matter how a child is treated in a Christian home it is better than living in an Islamic home.
Note for instance in the exchange blow how defender of Rifqa in robotic fashion repeats certain phrases such as "the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus" etc. and we see how in the videos below how Rifqa herself repeats phrases in a robotic or rehearsed manner . If these were not Christian Evangelicals a real journalist would take note of these cues and wonder if what one is dealing with is some sort of cult. Because these are often seen as signs of the sort of behaviors and speech patterns of Cult members. In Christian cults the members are encouraged to repeat prayers , Bible verses and various slogans of the group throughout their day and especially when someone raises a doubt about their beliefs or a moment of doubt arises in their own thoughts or even when they feel distracted since the doubts and doubters and distractions are all tactics used to undermine their faith by the devil or Satan and his minions ie Non-Christians, Atheists or any non-member of the particular cult.
Fox & Friends Smear Muslims By Asking If Rifqa Bary “Still In Danger”
Reported by Priscilla - January 20, 2010 -
Not noted by Fox & Friends was the statement from Bary’s lawyer “Bary and her parents love each other and will attempt to resolve their differences through counseling.” Not noted was the fact that Bary admitted that she was unruly in running away from home.
But those details might have gotten in the way of Jivanjee’s propaganda. Once again, he was able to use his Fox & Friends platform to promote the radical Christian propaganda that Bary was in danger from radical Islam. Once again, he was able to smear the Council for American Islamic Relations. Once again, he made the unfounded claim that Bary had been abused. Once again he was able to do an anti-Islamic monologue filled with baseless accusation with just only one question asked. Once again, only the "Christian" anti-Islamic side was aired. No skepticism was shown about his accusation; but rather it was taken as gospel truth by those who follow a gospel of bigotry and untruths.
FOX NEWS still Exploiting Rifqa Barry in order to Bash all Muslims-Dec. 21
UPDATE RIFQA BARRY Fox News Jan. 4, 2010
In these next two clips Rifqa's behaviors speech patterns, body language etc. are examined to check out the veracity of her statements or whether she is under the influence of her new religious mentors. It is more than likely that she learned about "honor Killings" in Islam from her Christian protectors . They have also convinced her that Islam in their view is a religion which should not be respected because it is anti-Christian and therefore a religion created by the Devil or the AntiChrist. So they have her and their followers convinced that her soul has now been saved by becoming an Evangelical Christian and if she reverts to Islam then her soul would be damned to Hell as are all those who do not in their view accept Jesus as their savior.

Let us pray FOR THEM MOOOOOOOOOZILMZ !
If I were a Muslim in American I would be afraid and would begin packing my bags just in case. Remember one of the major slurs about Obama has been calling him a secret Muslim-ie during the Inquisition the fear was of Muslims and Jews who had claimed to be converts to Christianity but in private were still practicing their original religious beliefs and traditions. So why would these Muslims and Jews deceive the Christians because they were told that they would be killed or expelled from Spain for instance if they did not convert to Christianity. For many of these non-Christians had been living in Andalusa for some four hundred years in a fairly non-oppressive situation along side the Muslim majority. For Jews the situation in Muslim Spain was not perfect but it was far better than how their counterparts were treated in Christian Europe where Jews were second class citizens who had to endure massacres, pogroms, the Inquisition and expulsion from various European countries. Muslims were not permitted to live in any part of so called Christendom. And unfortunately in our own time there are many anti-Muslims and Islamophobes and Nativist and White Supremacists who have joined together to restrict the movements and activities of Muslims and there is a call now to stop any more Muslims from entering Europe or even to have all Muslims expelled . Odd how some people believe that humanity has progressed over the centuries and become more liberal more tolerant or more rational. Nonsense we may have invented a lot of gadgets and made scientific breakthroughs but we are still the fearful Xenophobic creatures we were when we ventured out beyond our caves.
Christians especially Conservative Evangelical Bible thumping Christians have little or no respect for other religions (like their Taliban cousins)and have never been shy about using whatever tactics they can to make more converts by physical force or psychologically by calling their original faith false and even demonic and putting the fear of God into them ie that they will burn in Hell for all eternity-this is psychological warfare or telling indigenous peoples that the reason they were conquered by Christian Americans or Europeans was because the Christian God is stronger than their old gods or that their Old Gods have abandoned them or never existed in the first place or in fact are "Demonic Powers and Principalities".

Republican Scott Brown who just won the election represents what Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck etc. would call "A Real American" who believes in all the right things who's beliefs are not affected by reality, compassion, altruism, tolerance or understanding etc.
We also saw these values trumpeted by the likes of Glenn Beck, Pat Robertson and Rush Limbaugh in their odious comments about the tragedy which has hit the Haitian people. Their attitude simply put is "Screw Them" typifying the main characteristic of the stereotypical " Ugly American " .
