This quote is intriguing because most of it and the sentiment it expresses and the anxiety and conspiratorial tone matches that of "The John Birch Society" or the Ku Klux Klan or the sermons of various Christian preachers such as Rev. Jerry Falwell and many others who were against desegregation. Unfortunately this suspicion about other races continues up to the present day. Though now it is not as acceptable. Though some appeal to such racist sentiments by claiming everyone is now treated equally especially in the United States since it elected a black man as president. But racism. bigotry, mistrust, anxiety are not attitudes that a whole nation can just which away overnight. And there are still stumbling blocks in the way of blacks and other non-whites in America.
The other intriguing thing about this quote is that one can replace"Negro" with just about any group of people you want such as Hispanic, Latino, Gays and Lesbian,feminists Jews , Muslims ,Buddhists -the groups change but the mentality or mindset is the same as we make some group into "the dreaded other" what we don't understand we fear and even hate. At the moment in America it is acceptable to some people to publicly speak out against Gays and Lesbians and to fuel the fear and hatred of them by conjuring up wild conspiracies and talking about the Gay Agenda to turn your kids into Gays and thereby destroy America.
For example compare the lead-in to an anti-Gay article at the Religious Right "Traditional Values" website on the "boogeyman of the Right" the so called "Gay Agenda" in which they erroneously conflate Homosexuality with Pedophilia:

But as Glenn Beck Lou Dobbs , Sean Hannity and others prove everyday that they can with impunity attack Gays and ill-legal Immigrants who happen to be dark skinned or Muslims who have a different religion who may be dark skinned or have their own culture and speak a different language or blame the poor for being poor. Without such pariah groups without the fearful "other" what then would these fear merchants have to talk about.
Anyway Glenn beck claims to be "telling it like it is" that he is just trying to figure out what is going on in America as the average American that he is ( making 23 million a year not so average) He actually says that he is just getting by like everybody else. He sometimes refers to himself saying he is more rodeo clown than journalist. Odd since he researches subjects and events and tries he says to have experts on his program so he can pick their brains. Of course he never mentions that 90 % of these experts are connected with the Republican Party , are neoconservatives, or other conservatives and libertarians and those who belonged to organizations tied to the Religious Right or just a bit extreme such as Alex Jones.
But it appears Glenn beck doesn't always tell the truth. As the song goes "he's not exactly lying he's just careless with the truth". But for the most part he appears to be this sort of innocent who is always being shocked by what's happening.Odd though that he claims to not be a Republican or Democrat and he claims he was critical of George W. Bush on various issues Well except for lying to the country and the world in order to sell them on the Iraq War or that the contractors in Iraq Iraq were doing a splendid job in rebuilding Iraq and that Blackwater for instance could do no wrong and it did not bother him as a Good Mormon that a million people were killed in Iraq since every one of them was a terrorists besides as a Good Mormon he has a low opinion of dark skinned people and anyone who is not a Mormon or a Christian.
Anyway here he is lying again as he rewrites his own history. He always hated government and wanted to uncover corruption no matter which party was in power. And his audience incredibly believes whatever he says.

For weeks we have been covering the run-up to the How To Take Back America Conference, writing about the fringe Religious Right activists who are hosting it and the Republican leaders like Mike Huckabee and Michele Bachmann who will be addressing it, asking just how radical one has to be before they find themselves shunned by the GOP.
Earlier this week, we released a report on the organizers and participants which chronicled the various right-wing conspiracy theories and inflammatory rhetoric they have spewed over the years and, given that their long records of firey fringe activism are well-known, nobody can feign surprise when these activists got up to the podium and spewed those same rabidly fringe views at the conference.
Case in point: Rick Scarborugh of Vision America.
Scarborough, who served on Mike Huckabee's Faith and Values Committee during the latter's presidential campaign, unleashed a firey sermon more befitting a Sunday sermon than a political gathering. But since the two are essentially one in the same for Scarborough and the other participants, his proclamations that he is neither a Republican nor a Democrat but rather a "Christocrat" who will support only candidates who proudly stand up on the campaign trail and say "yes, there's a God" and who realizes that the Constitution is a godly document designed to guide this nation by Christian principles, just as the Bible is designed to guide the lives of all of mankind. He then rails against Republican failures to defund the Department of Education and Planned Parenthood before turning his attention to President Obama and "his minions" who are intent on giving civil rights to "sodomites" while banning the Bible and putting Christians in jail. Eventually he turns to the "shadow government" constructed by President Obama filled with "well-financed, well-heeled, and highly-staffed professional infidels who have dedicated their life" to destroying America:

You read that right! With very little warning, we have just learned that the DOJ has been granted a hearing that could result in this new case over Obama’s citizenship being thrown out of court! The DOJ’s motion claims that our clients have no “standing,” that the Federal Court does not have “jurisdiction” to hear this case, and that the matter is “political.”
But, if we as citizens of the United States have no “standing” to verify the citizenship of the man occupying the White House, who does? If our Federal Courts have no jurisdiction to hear this case, who does? It’s not a “political” question, it’s a CONSTITUTIONAL question!

Her faults and sins include that she is a lesbian and has been an activist for Gay and Lesbian rights and she believes that more needs to be done to ensure Gays Lesbians and people with disabilities and others are given equal opportunity. These sanctimonious Christians are not just upset that she is Gay and believes in Gay rights but also she has shown she believes people with physical or mental disabilities also should be provided with equal opportunities Yes she wants to help the blind the deaf the lame the sick to be given a chance to live more productive lives. Obama Nominates Radical Law School Professor For Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
September 17, 2009 – President Obama has picked Chai R. Feldblum to become a member of the Employment Opportunity Commission, the federal agency which enforces workplace civil rights laws. If confirmed, she would serve 5 years on the EEOC and issue edicts that will impact all areas of employment.
Feldblum isn’t known by most Americans but her career experience and employers make her a sort of general counsel to the Forces of Darkness. She has worked for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), the pro-homosexual Human Rights Campaign Fund and she founded something called the Moral Values Project, a "gender equity" group meant to sound like something conservative.
She is a lesbian and has played a major role in pushing the LGBT agenda in American culture for the past 20 years.
Feldblum is professor of law (gay studies) at Georgetown University. She is the primary author of the pro-gay/transsexual bill known as the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), which is being pushed again in Congress. She is also a strategist for gay activists. She advocates the use of “incrementalism” in the achievement of the gay agenda. She wants to use incrementalism in ENDA, for example, by first covering employment and then later moving to housing and public accommodations. The same tactic was used in another Feldblum-authored bill the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) where housing was the first target and then the ADA was later expanded to cover more areas of our culture.
In the mid-1980s, Feldblum clerked for Supreme Court Justice Harry A. Blackmun, the notorious liberal judge who authored the Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion on demand. He invented a right to abortion not found in the Constitution. Feldblum praised him as someone who had the “ability and desire to look behind the law and see the people is not the classic way to do law …. He brings a sense of caring and compassion that will be missed.” Clearly, Feldblum favors liberal judicial activists who ignore the Constitution and who impose their own political views on the law.
She is author of such articles as:

In her paper, “Moral Conflict and Liberty: Gay Rights and Religion,” Feldblum argues for legislative and judicial “outcomes that will allow LGBT people to live lives of honesty and safety in today’s society.”
