Anyway even the death of Kurt Vonnegut is a signal for the Neocons to attack someone who they see as the enemy of so called American Values-
KICKING A MAN AFTER HIS DEATH : Part of the Fox News Channels attempts at propaganda & the rewriting of American history - Vonnegut as a failure instead of one of the Great American satirists , if not the greatest, of the twentieth century...
These myopic conservatives are creating their own " Memory Hole " like the one found in the book 1984 & they are deadly serious about it as every day they continue to rewrite the history of the last century or the malleable history of yesterday...
as they rewite the history of the Vietnam War & the McCarthy Era & the Iran -Contra-Scandal , or its well documented history of racism towards african-Americans, aboriginal peoples, Jewish Americans & Japanese Americans & Irish immigrants & Catholics etc. ( see for instance Ann Coulter's book " GODLESS" in which she claims America to have always been a country of Justice & fairplay for it is only those who hate America who are critical of its history in her view ) & now the American Occupation of Iraq is being re-written on a daily basis...
Here is a more fitting tribute called " SO IT GOES..." to a literary giant & a wonderful human being... who saw too much of " Man's Inhumanity to Man"...
