Avatar & Genocide & The Evils Of Colonialism Plus Keith Olbermann Takes On O'Reilly, Beck, and Fox News

UPDATE 4:11 PM Wed. Dec. 30, 2009

Official Avatar Movie

Avatar great film-making with strong political overtones. Of course the audiences especially in the United States unfortunately will not be able to see themselves as the "Bad Guys" as they are portrayed in James Cameron's AVATAR.

The problem is even today Americans and their cowering Kow Towing pandering sycophantic allies just do as the US tells them. So torture, massacres, raping & pillaging etc. is OK especially if the so called enemy are demonized and dehumanized. Then one can drop Napalm on a village or use Unmanned Killer Drones incinerating men women children while the folks state-side applaud every murder.

Americans historically for over 500 years treated the Native American Indians in the same way the powers that be treated the Navi in Avatar
The Americans invaded Iraq murdering a million or so people which was or is somehow for their own good-so Big Multinationals could make obscene profits-Kellogg Brown & Root/ Halliburton ,Black Water inc. etc. Profits and Empire building more important than the lives of a bunch of Native Iraqis who follow an "Evil Religion" according to the Evangelical Fundamentalist , the Neocons & Conservative movement along with US government & Pentagon. They are committed to dehumanize, demonize the enemy whether Iraqi citizens or the peoples of Afghanistan and Pakistan as the Americans demonized and dehumanized the Vietnamese to justify the massacre of millions .

Avatar an awesome piece of film making with a powerful political message against Colonialism. In the film Colonialism and Racism are shown to be rationalizations for those with the power to destroy those who the natives as it were who have little power. The Colonialist are only interested in profit sort of like the corporations destroying the South American rain forest while killing off any Native who refuse to relocate -that's how the supposedly enlightened Europeans slaughtered a few million Native Americans claiming the Natives were less than human or were possessed by the devil & that Christians being Christians had the right to kill off those who were not Christians. The Spanish, the Portuguese , the Brits, the Germans, Dutch etc. are all guilty of these Crimes Against Humanity. Currently the Americans & its allies are slaughtering people in Afghanistan , Pakistan etc. while the American populace cheers every time some little village is attacked blown to pieces and its inhabitants all butchered in the name of National Security, Profit Margins, natural resources or overarching geopolitical rationale which does not bother with trivial ethical issues such as killing children and whole families to protect America's interests. Those who support this slaughter see only themselves and their kind (Christian European ancestry)as real human beings . Once a people whether North American Indians or Iraqis or Palestinians and Afghans as evil and less than human it is easier to massacre them.

Keith asks if Law & Order slandered O'Reilly et all they should sue for defammation of character. But they won't because there is too much evidence to support the alleged slander. What these characters have said on air has been linked to violent actions. They have been promoting various conspiracy theories for years attacking liberals & the media & now Obama and his administration. They claim Obama stole last years election .

Keith goes on to attack the Conservative Conspiracy claims that the Media is run by Liberals and progressives by listing a number of Conservative Commentators in the Media ie.Orly Tates, G. Gordon Liddy, Michael Medved, Lou Dobbs, Laura Ingraham, David Horowitz, Ann Coulter, Peggy Noonan, John Fund, Cal Thomas, Charles Krauthammer, Max Drudge,Sean Hannity, Mike Huckabee, Mark Levin Nei Cavuto, Bill Krystal, Jonah Goldberg, George Will, Sarah Palin
