US soldiers show the dark side of American foreign policies .
US soldiers urinating on dead Taliban another symbol or iconic moment of American arrogance and imperialism.
To these soldiers and to the US military and government America and its people are far superior to all other nations and peoples so pissing on their dead is no big deal.
It is we are told no big deal to kill, rape or torture those who defy the American Empire.
This is an iconic picture of war stripped of triumphalism and romanticism.
In this case we have the most powerful nation on earth fighting the people of one of the poorest regions on earth.
Now when the relatives, wives, children and friends of these dead fighters seek justice the US will just kill more of them thereby prolong this war which is really a blood feud and an act of revenge for the 9/11 attacks.

KABUL/WASHINGTON — A video showing what appears to be American forces urinating on dead Taliban fighters prompted anger in Afghanistan and promises of a U.S. investigation on Thursday but the insurgent group said it would not harm nascent efforts to broker peace talks.
The video, posted on YouTube and other websites, shows four men in camouflage Marine combat uniforms urinating on three corpses. One of them jokes: “Have a nice day, buddy.” Another makes a lewd joke.
Afghan President Hamid Karzai condemned the video, describing the men’s actions as “inhuman” and calling for an investigation, in a statement on Thursday.
More controversy over how American soldiers behave. Yes it appears several were video-taped urinating on the dead bodies of members of the Taliban whom they had killed.
Was this just another sort of Frat Boys prank.
Was this just a few bad apples.
Surely this is a minor detail and scandal given what major war crimes and crimes against humanity have been committed with impunity iAfghanistan and Iraq.
US soldiers have been known to cut off body parts such as ears to keep as trophies .
US soldiers have also killed wounded enemy insurgents or Taliban who were no longer a threat.
We know that Generals and other officers have put pressure on soldiers to increase the body count with little concern of the guilt or innocence of those
We know that some US soldiers have deliberately hunted down and murdered innocent civilians just for fun. Or they sit on top buildings shooting at vehicles and pedestrians just for fun in urban areas populated not by terrorists or insurgents but rather average citizens.
We have heard stories of thousands of incarcerated citizens imprisoned on a whim or to scam the American public into believing that they are accomplishing their goals.
Thousands in Iraq and Afghanistan have been incarcerated and then physically and psychologicaly abused and tortured because the Generals and the Pentagon and the CIA and the White House wanted to use false confessions to justify these wars and the ongoing Occupations.
US soldiers give the gift of that knock on the door between midnite and dawn.
They kick in a thousand doors at night terrorizing people in their homes killing and raping and pillaging all in the name of revenge not freedom or human rights.
And the media says but pity their women and yet we see videos of US soldiers gunning down groups and crowds of innocent people or flattening entire cities then dropping Napal on the survivors in the case of Fallujah just to avenge the deaths of four American contractors mercenaries or what have you working for Cheney and Haliburton.
For some ten years US troops have terroized millions to get revenge for the 3,000 Americans killed on 9/11 and for evey soldier killed in this stupefying Global War on Terror.
The Bush and Obama regimes have committed numerous war crimes as they ignored almost a century during which many leaders with the support of millions in the International Community to make those who take part in war to be accountable for their actions.
The Geneva Coventions and ahost of other agreements were to be enforced as constituting a legal obligation on all nations even one'sown if it is found guilty.
President Obama and President Bush believe these are not legitimate laws since they are only accountable to American Laws though as Presidents they answer to no one.
So they order the military to target someone for an assassination drop missiles , bunker buster bombs and cluster bombs on villages killing thousands , kidnapping people to be tortured in secret or at Gitmo Abu Ghraib .
So anyway urinating on corpese is just a little peek into a military which is also unaccountable .
Some very few indeed though do get punished forced to pay $2-5,000 for murder or rape or torture. To the US military and the US government the White House and the mainstream media in America appear to believe that's all any of these foreigners are worth.
To many Americans and US soldiers all of the people in these nations are the enemy. As president George W.Bush put it in stark terms that nations either support the USA unconditionally or to be viewed as the enemy. So since the 9/11 attacks the US sees itself as under siege by a large percentage of nations and peoples.
Meanwhile the US and Israel are doing all they can to justify war with Iran.
and on the US government's propaganda to justify attacking Iran because it might one day develop atomic weapons.
Meanwhile the US and Israel refuse to publicly acknowledge Israel's Nuclear weapons.
If this reality is denied why should we trust either nation's claims about Iran.

Israel's propaganda Machine releases new video in preparation of war with Iran.
Pro-israel think tank Jerusalem Center For Public Affairs releases video defending Israel's right to keep the illegal borders created by the six day war in 1967.
So supposedly this justifies the building of more settlements beyond Israel's borders and why pre-emptive attacks on its neighbors are justifiable.
So if one accepts Israel's logic about real or possible threats then Israel has the right to Bomb Iran.
