Republican Tea Party Protesters Violent Rhetoric
Combine Gun-Totting with Sarah Palin's Posted Enemy List an extremely dangerous mix of politics , populism and religion.
Tea Party Madness!!!
Sweeping up the glass broken on Kristallnacht
Synagogue in Germany destroyed during Kristallnacht the staged populist riots against the Jews. In America will it be Mosques and liberal churches or liberal universities which teach pernicious ideas such as "Evolution", pluralism, diversity, respect for other religious beliefs even non-Christian ones that might be targeted ?
Talking about the local and national protests, the Congressman said, "It was the verge of Kristallnacht." U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen being interviewed on The Young Turks by Cenk Uygur
Kristallnacht was the the catalyst orchestrated by the Nazi party to further demonize the Jews in Germany and were able in short order to pass a number of harsh laws discriminating against the Jews which helped pave the way for "The Final Solution".Kristallnacht was a crime committed against the Jews that is the Jews were the victims and yet the Jewish community collectively had to pay a large fine and all proceed they had received from the Insurance companies.

"Night of Crystal" - "Night of Broken Glass"Is Germany's past America's future. Is Glenn Beck or some other leading figure in the Republican Tea Party Patriots/Militia movement a new little Hitler though in this situation more by accident than design.
Police outside a Jewish shop
"Kristallnacht" is a German word that consists of two parts: "Kristall" translates to "crystal" and refers to the look of broken glass and "Nacht" means "night." The accepted English translation is the "Night of Broken Glass."
The most infamous Anti-Semitic Pogrom in recent history occurred on November 9, 1938. Instigated primarily by Nazi party officials and the SA (Nazi Storm Troopers), the pogrom occurred throughout Germany (including annexed Austria and the Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia). The name Kristallnacht has its origin in the untold numbers of broken windows of synagogues, Jewish-owned stores, community centers, and homes plundered and destroyed during the pogrom. The term became a euphemism for this brutal pogrom and does not adequately convey the suffering it caused.
Things are getting ugly South of the border in the USA . Will it spill over into Canada . Probably not since in Canada we are still being hammered by a Neoconservative Prime Minister and his Neocon party. So they are taking steps to dismantle as much of our government as they think they can get away with. It is difficult to be critical of the government since they use the excuse that anyone who is too outspoken about our current government is being disloyal while we too are at war with The Taliban and terrorists around the globe. Just about every evening the Canadian tv networks go on about the sacrifice of our troops and therefore criticism of this dubious mission in Afghanistan is characterized as disloyalty as traitorous because one is not behind our troops 100%. All doubters are labeled traitors according to this Neoconservative logic which The Harper Government has imported from the American Neoconservatives that ran the Bush Regime .
Prime Minister Harper who claimed George W. Bush and Dick Cheney as his heroes is now Canada's would be dictator who has twice now prorogued (suspended)parliament like Monarchs in the past. So he has demonstrated to the Canadian people that he like Bush & Co. is not a lover of Parliamentary Democracy and would prefer unlimited powers for himself and his party of hate and bigotry. Besides his use of the Canadian military for propaganda reasons the only people these Neocons are concerned about are their fellow Neocons and the super-wealthy.
So it occurred to me that David Frumm who just got ousted from The Republican Tea Party sponsored by Fox News should not despair just call Harper or the Fraser Institute or other Propaganda right-wing institutions which the conservatives laughingly call "Think Tanks" he's bound to get a job as long as he tows the party line.

Idaho GOP Gov Hopeful: I'm OK With Militias Showing 'A Little Force' (VIDEO) April 2, 2010
Via Suzy Khimm at Mother Jones: A longshot Republican gubernatorial candidate in Idaho says in a new interview that he has no problem with militias showing "a little force behind the scenes."
ABC's Nightline caught up with Rex Rammell at a training session of the North Idaho Lightfoot Militia. Rammell, who last made national headlines in August when he joked about buying tags to hunt President Obama, is seen in the ABC segment firing a large scoped semi-automatic rifle.
The twisted logic of the Republican Tea Party
The leaders of the Republican Party & The Tea Party Movement are deliberately fueling anger and fear hoping to incite violence. Once violence occurs they will blame the violence not on their fear mongering but on Obama and his policies and the Democrats and progressives.

These New Nazis insist they be heard and that the Media and politicians treat them with respect & ignore their violent anti-Government rhetoric or their hate mongering and racism.
Republican Tea Party leaders fueling fear and anger hoping to incite violence & then blame it on Obama's policies and Liberalism & Progressivism ( Note Glenn Beck and his fellow conservatives now equate liberalism and Obama with Nazism )
Rep. Steve Cohen: Sarah Palin Made John McCain Look Like "A Captured Soldier in North Vietnam" Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks April 2 at Huffington Post
Rep. Steve Cohen was on The Young Turks last night and he brought it. He said the Republicans in Congress seemed to be encouraging the Tea Party protests to the point of nearly inciting a riot. He said it was like "mob rule." In Tennessee people were throwing rocks through windows. Talking about the local and national protests, the Congressman said, "It was the verge of Kristallnacht."
...Things don't seem to be quieting down. Quite the opposite. The physical acts of violence only seem to be gaining momentum, as the craziest of the activists continue to get egged on. This is not going to end well. I am for the first time starting to get concerned about the physical welfare of the congressmen.
Ironically, it appears the right-wing has taken on the ideology of Malcolm X. By any means necessary.
If they lose the elections, well then they turn to physical intimidation. This is ugly.
Finally, imagine if there were a group of well-organized Muslims in the country leading rage filled protests. That they were being led by Democratic congressmen and left-wing commentators. And they started throwing bricks through windows, cutting gas lines, sending white powder to congressmen's offices and sending death threats. What do you think the general attitude of the nation and the press would be? My guess is utter panic and an enormous backlash.
...The irony is that the Obama administration had accurately predicted the scope of the problem early on when the Department of Homeland Security put out a report about extremist right-wing groups in the country. What happened to that report? It was pulled after Republicans complained. Does that seem like a smart move now?
Nine Members of the Hutaree Militia Indicted in Plans for ‘Armed Conflict’ by Heidi Beirich on March 29, 2010 at Hatewatch SPLC
The arrests again show the growing danger from America’s radical right, where a pervasive rage against the government has become red hot. In a report released in March, “Rage on the Right,” the SPLC documented 512 antigovernment “Patriot” groups, which include armed militias, operating by the end of 2009. That represents a 244 percent increase over the previous year’s count of 149. The number of militia groups rose from 42 in 2008 to 127 in 2009.
The SPLC documented a total of 75 domestic terrorism plots between the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995 and 2009. The majority of those plots were concocted by individuals with extreme antigovernment views.
