Michael Morgan in his book Lost History quotes from what is considered Muhammad's "last sermon,... Muhammad... sets out some visionary and progressive concepts with which men will struggle for a thousand years to come, such as the following on racial and ethnic equality:

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over a white-except by piety and good action.

And Abu Bakr the first Caliph of Islam is quoted as saying in his first speech to the Ummah:

O Men! I have been assigned the job of being a ruler over you while I am not the best among you. If I do well in my job,help me. If I do wrong ,redress me. Truthfulness is fidelity, and lying is treason. The weak shall be strong in my eyes until I restore to them their lost rights, and the strong shall be weak in my eye until I have restored the rights of the weak from them.

Anyway it is unfortunately a fact that anti-Islam bigotry is growing in the West replicating in many ways some of the very language of Anti-Semitism and using the anti-Semitic hate filled vile conspiracy theories to attack Muslims. They just replace the word"Jews" with the word "Muslims" . Muslims are characterized as infiltrating Western Society as part of their 1400 year old plan to make all the world's nations into Islamic Nations. For example Martin Luther who was a rabid anti-semite characterized Judaism as being in reality "the Synagogues of Satan" this invective has morphed into " The Mosques of Satan".

So no longer for most Christians is Judaism the enemy of Christianity as Judaism has now been replaced by Islam. It is not just Western Christians who are bigoted in their views about Islam but many secularist is the West have also given into an irrational form of anti-Islamic hysteria. Their view is that it is not just extremist Muslims who are the enemy but all Muslims because they erroneously conclude that according to Islamic doctrine it is the duty all good Muslims to wage a Jihad against all non-Muslims.

Muslims are characterized by the Anti-Muslims by using various racist stereotypes For example characterizing all Muslims for instance as being a bit miserly because they don't buy what they can't afford. Rather than calling it common sense or frugality .

Muslims are said to be deceitful. Their detractors in the West claim that the Qur'an allows for deceitfulness so if they wanted to they could pose as a Christian or a Jew to accomplish some task like blowing up buildings etc.
As the Jews were depicted as either being part of a radical left wing party, the liberals, the reformers, the communist . etc to push for their agenda. Some of these Islamophobes still talk as if Obama was a secret Muslim because they say according to Islam lying as a tactic is acceptable. .
Muslims are characterized as an invading force . The religion of Islam is reduced to being called a cult by the Christian Right Leaders and leading neoconservatives. Some like Pat Robertson and others actually refer to Muslims as being evil because Islam was created by the Father of Lies the Devil and so must be defeated and obliterated . This used to also be how Judaism was represented by the Christians who blamed the Jews for murdering Jesus -Deicide And so the Jews were forever cursed by God .

Once these stereotypes get rooted into the mainstream the War on Terror becomes a Cosmic War. Such a war cannot be over until there are too few to fear or to even obliterate even the last few.
As once the Jews were depicted by Christians as their enemy and for the most part this did not really end til after the second World War and the revelations of the magnitude of the slaughter of Jews by Hitler and the Nazis. The Shoah or holocaust and this finally shamed many into changing their attitudes towards the Jews. What would it take to shame these bigots to stop attacking Islam. A million dead Iraqis has had no effect on the Americans or other countries.

There were moments--long moments--during the Iraq war when I had my doubts. Even deep doubts. Frankly, I couldn’t quite imagine any venture requiring trust with Arabs turning out especially well. This is, you will say, my prejudice. But some prejudices are built on real facts, and history generally proves me right. Go ahead, prove me wrong.

The point here is so obvious that it makes itself. In the bolded sentence, replace the word "Arabs" with "Jews" and ask yourself: how much time would elapse before the author of such a sentence would be vehemently scorned and shunned by all decent people, formally condemned by a litany of organizations, and have his livelihood placed in jeopardy? Or replace the word "Arabs" in that sentence with "Jews" or "blacks" or "Latinos" or even "whites" or virtually any other identifiable demographic group and ask yourself this: how many people would treat a magazine edited and owned by such a person as a remotely respectable or mainstream publication (notwithstanding the several decent journalists employed there)?

Yet Marty Peretz spits out the most bigoted sentiments of this type -- and he's been doing this for years, as is well known -- and very little happens, because, for multiple reasons, this specific type of hate-mongering remains basically permitted in American political discourse.

The double standard at play here is as extreme and self-evident as it is pernicious, but it doesn't matter. And we'll all wait with bated breath for the next installment of The New Republic's righteous, accusatory attacks on the entirely fictitious manifestations of the one strain of bigotry that bothers them, because they're such credible arbiters and opponents of prejudice.

Discrimination against American Muslims is on the increase as Glenn Beck, Fox News et al keep demonizing all Muslims as potential terrorists since they claim Islam is a religion of violence and intolerance.
The manager of an apartment complex doesn't want Muslims living there because they eat curry and smell and she claims that Muslims are not very clean.
For full disclosure I eat curry on a daily basis and mixed with a heavy dose of garlic. So would these people refuse to rent to me or anyone else who eats spicy foods because we might smell of curry and Garlic. So would they turn away anyone from the Middle East or India or even Italians. If Canada ever gets a decent government again I would tell them to think about moving to Canada . But in some ways we are no longer any better than the Americans as we are ruled by white Christian fundamentalists or at least fellow-travelers. Our PM has a hate on as do many Canadians for Muslims and Middle Easterners in general. Once upon a time up to about 1960 we were a country of anti-semites , racists and other bigots. Now the bigots get upset because they are told not to use insulting epiphets about visible minorities or religious minorities .
When listening to people like Pam Geller and Robert Spence & other Jewish Islamophobes it strikes one as Ironic that not long ago it was American & Canadian Jews who were often treated like second class citizens along with our aboriginal peoples and black Canadians. Not content with attempting to starve to death the people in Gaza some American and Canadian Jews want us to treat all Muslims as evil terrorists. Is there any country that is free from these various forms of bigotry or do those in power and their Christian friends believe that all non-Christians should be treated as second class citizens-will they soon send all Muslims to internment camps as we did unjustly to Japanese Canadians in WW11. We also incarcerated anyone who tried to publicly stop these internments- politicians , attorneys etc. were seen as giving aid and comfort to the enemy by standing up for the rights of Japanese Canadians.

CHICAGO (CBS) - Islamic rights advocates say there's been a rise in the number of threats directed at local Muslims. And some of these threats are being delivered right to their doors. CBS 2's Mike Puccinelli reports.

When Ahmed Rehab walks up to his suburban home these days it's with a new sense of awareness. That's because of what he found waiting for him in his mailbox just a few days ago, a postmarked typewritten hate-filled letter complete with a death threat.

"At the end of the letter it stated, 'the only good Arab is a DEAD Arab,'" said Rehab.





Americans were the ones after Russia had been kicked out of Afghanistan and the Taliban took over who were supposedly removed from power in Afghanistan. But the reality many of the Taliban leaders and the War Lords and the drug trade is defended by NATO and the United States. They are not there to defend the rights of Afghanistan women or of Afghanistans in general. This is just another War of Aggression like Iraq and neither one is justified .

NATO And the United States hated because they continue to support Drug War Lords- why is it they never really and seriously try to wipe out the Opium crops in Afghanistan. The problem is that NATO and the United States are only interested in Afghanistan and Pakistan because of their strategic position in the geopolitical overarching needs of the West to keep the oil flowing and as a military buffer .

First here's Colonel West joining Glenn Beck and others inciting his audience to arm and muster against the Obama/socialist/Communist UnAmerican administration. Col. West encourages his audience to meet in groups to decide how they will go about bringing down the Obama administration without saying that he rejects acts of violence . So here he is encouraging a revolution or civil war. His message is that Conservative Americans should get their weapons/musket to be ready to use their rifles with fixed bayonets against those who have taken control of America he believes under false pretenses and are therefore the Enemy of The People. If Obama and his administration are ignoring their oath to the Constitution then the citizens have not just the right but the duty to oust them by whatever means necessary.

Sean Hannity & Fox News creates a Narrative for Video that went viral by Col. West
Hannity & Fox focus on the message of self-reliance and Individualism by Col. West and yet ignored the call to arms by Col. West. In the video it is clear that Col. West isn't just bothered or disagrees with some of Obama's policies but as far as he is concerned President Obama usurped the presidency and is surrounded by the "Enemy Within" who need to brought down by any means necessary. But this part of the speech Hannity ignores . But it is the call to arms with fixed bayonets is more likely the reason the video went viral.

Neither Col. West nor Hannity bother to add any caveats to their position on Individualism & self-reliance . They ignore that there are some citizens who do need help from the federal or state government. West & Hannity one assumes believe that if someone is physically or mentally disabled that is not the concern of the federal or state or municipal governments or any other institution . So what they decry are laws about equal access such as building wheel chair ramps etc. If a child is under nourished or abused that is also none of the governments or the communities business. As Glenn Beck & others in the conservative movement have made clear is that the idea of community or society are views which are anti-thetical to American values.

and here's Newt Gingrich sowing the seeds of dissent, resistance and the overthrow of Obama's government by any means necessary. Victory or Death. This seems to be a call for Americans to arm and muster to join militias & patriot organizations such as The Oath Keepers or Alarm & Muster, Patriotic Resistance etc.
He tells conservatives that it is their duty to replace over 513,000 federal employees plus the 9th circuit court and any liberals, progressives or radicals which have positions anywhere in the federal government.

Gingrich says they must CRUSH and eradicate any such radicals whom he finds objectionable. And yet Gingrich compares Obama to Stalin, or Hitler or Mao but it is Gingrich who wants to have his own form of cultural revolution by which only "Real Americans" are left to be free-all others will have their freedoms restricted or eliminated as they do in countries such as Haiti, El Salvador or Afghanistan based upon religion, race or ideology. Only those who belong to American community organizations such as the Rotarians and the Knights of Columbus, the John Birchers, Young Americans for Freedom etc. should have their rights protected.

No atheist, agnostic or Pagan or Non-Christian or Non-Jew need apply. In his Barvew New World corporations, small businesses , landlords etc. should hire and fire or rent to or sell a house to whomever they wish and to discriminate against whomever they wish.

He also said in this speech on Nov. 17, 2009 basically the same thing as Liz Cheney did last week that any attorney who represented any Incarcerated Terrorist suspect should not be employed by any department in the US Federal government. They should be drummed out of the core if they belong to JAG and their names published as if they were child molesters.

To him and Liz Cheney attorneys should only be permitted to fight cases on behalf of good Christian or Jewish defendants who are innocent and who are in fact "Real Americans" that is White and religious. So all Public Defendants are to be regarded with suspicion. Maybe he prefers Glenn Beck's solution to captured terrorists "just shoot them in the head". So given his reasoning that if you are captured and incarcerated by the USA's military or the CIA, FBI or other members of the US government police forces that you are guilty as charged so lets just apply this to civil courts and police forces in America who also claim that they only stop and search suspicious people who are 99% guilty of something. For instance i once threw a rock on a dare through a school window therefore because I was and am guilty of this action I should have been locked up for life spending my days working with other inmates on a road-gang all chained together which is one of those sights which brings a smile to Gingrich's face as does looking at the lurid obscene photos from Abu Ghraib or watching torture tapes of accused incarcerated terrorist .

A furious effort by Liz Cheney to label seven Justice Department lawyers who previously defended Guantanamo detainees as terrorist sympathizers appears so contrary to the American legal tradition that it puts her at odds with the man responsible for getting her father elected vice president.

Back in January 2007, Ted Olson -- then a lawyer in private practice but previously a lead counsel in Bush v. Gore and solicitor general of the United States -- co-authored a short article for Legal Times in which he called efforts to demonize detainee defense lawyers as antithetical to American values.

"The ethos of the bar is built on the idea that lawyers will represent both the popular and the unpopular, so that everyone has access to justice. Despite the horrible Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, this is still proudly held as a basic tenet of our profession," Olson wrote.
"When government officials are called 'war criminals' and when public-interest lawyers are called 'terrorist huggers,' it not only cheapens the discourse, it scrambles the dialogue. The best solutions to these difficult problems will emerge only when the best advocates, backed by weighty resources, bring their talents to bear. And the heavy work of creating solutions for these complicated issues can only move forward when the name-calling ceases."


Olson co-by lined the piece with Neal Katyal, now the Principal Deputy Solicitor General of the United States and himself a defender of Gitmo detainees' rights. Katyal won a key Supreme Court case challenging the legality of President Bush's military commissions.

The 2007 article specifically addressed remarks from a Pentagon official who, at the time, had called out firms by name for doing legal work on behalf of Gitmo detainees.
Over the past week, Liz Cheney's group, Keep America Safe, has launched a prodigious attack against the Obama Justice Department for hiring lawyers who, at one time or another, did legal work on behalf of terror suspects. Branding the group the "Al Qaeda Seven", Cheney was able to browbeat the department on Wednesday into releasing the names of the lawyers.

But on Wednesday evening, Aaron Harison, the executive director for Keep America Safe, released a statement demanding to know "whether lawyers who voluntarily flocked to Guantanamo to take up the cause of the terrorists are currently working on detainee issues in President Obama's Justice Department."

A spokesman for the department insisted that it would "not participate in an attempt to drag people's names through the mud for political purposes."

And while some Republican lawmakers, including namely Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), have fully embraced Keep America Safe's effort, others in the GOP have been more skittish.

Olson himself couldn't be reached for this post. But his January 2007 article does give some guidance as to how he would respond to Cheney.

"One of the wisest things the administration did after Sept. 11 was to permit lawyers to do their jobs in defending detainees," he and Katyal wrote. "From the enormously talented judge advocates general who directly represented Guantánamo detainees to the hundreds of private practitioners who took on individual cases, they have upheld our best principles by providing a vigorous defense. Patriotism is believing that the American system, not whim and insult, will reach the right results."

Keep American Safe, the brainchild of Liz Cheney released a new video Tuesday challenging the loyalties of Justice Department lawyers who "represented or advocated for terrorist detainees" during the Bush administration.

The video entitled "Who Are The Al Qaeda Seven?" shows an image of an Investor's Business Daily headline that reads "DOJ: Department of Jihad?" and singles out DOJ lawyers who represented terrorist suspects as well as Obama administration Attorney General Eric Holder.
This video is the latest in a series of attacks from the group, which has repeatedly knocked heads with Holder.

Last month, the concern overflowed into the Senate when Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) called on Holder to name all Justice Department lawyers who had previously represented detainees.

All Muslims they argue are involved in a Jihad /Holy War either by way of physical violence , suicide bombers etc. or are working in the shadows in a stealth campaign to destroy American & Western Civilization. Wafa Sultan makes the point about Muslims who have memorized the whole of the Qur'an-don't some Christians also memorize the New Testament or even the whole of the Bible.
These anti-Muslim bigots call anyone who in their view are appeasers they refer to as Dhimmis. Dhimmis under Islamic law are those who are not Muslim living in a Mslim controlled country. Jews and Christians make up the majority of Dhimmis. Muslims refer to Jews and Christians as the peoples of the Book . Muhammad believed there was line of prophets which goes back to Jesus, Moses, Abraham. Noah etc. as found in the Old and New Testament. Muhammad saw himself as an inheritor of this tradition but that he is the last of the great prophets.
As we have discussed previously these anti-Muslims claim the Jews were treated better in Europe for the past thousand years or so. But this is not the case in fact based upon historical research the Jews were treated better under Islamic rule than they were under Christian rule in Europe or in the Middle East.

As a cult the Muslims are not much different than Jim Jones People's Temple which ended with suicide/murder of over 900 of its members. they literally drank poisoned Kool-Aid which is where the saying comes from. So Muslims they claim are untrustworthy and fanatical and dangerous because their loyalty is to Muhammad & Islam first and foremost .

Using the old anti-Semitism Conspiracy theory they argue that each and every honest Muslim are expected to defend the faith and to die for it and invade and conquer non-Muslim nations making the people convert or die. They also argue there is the visible war where soldiers fight and die and their is the stealth campaign to control America & the West. His vocabulary is equivalent to that of rabid anti-semitism. For instance they believe that Muslims are slowly but surely taking over financial institutions such as the Banks The Jews were also accused of controlling the banks and controlling the media and the Universities and schools -the invisible Jewish hand was behind everything. They too were seen as untrustworthy &deceitful sometimes pretending to have converted to Christianity- ie The Spanish Iquisition & the Conversos - Conversion or death , hunting down Pagans and heretics ,invading the Middle East butchering Muslims ,Heretics was Jesus all God or half and half , part human part God and was God the only God or was there a Trinity made up of God The Father and God the son & the Holy Ghost or three separate Gods. And did Jesus utter this phrase or that or say nothing just before he died. As scholars who work on the centuries-old Islamic presence in Europe and the continent’s first post-Holocaust genocide against, not coincidently, the Muslims of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we were deeply disturbed but not surprised that an ostensibly tolerant and pluralistic Western democracy like Switzerland would vote by a margin of 57 percent to ban the religious symbol of 400,000 of its Muslim residents because they felt “threatened” by the grand total of four minarets that exist there.

The Swiss referendum was the tip of an iceberg reflecting both deep and age-old historic prejudice against a Muslim presence on the continent as well as a recent concerted ideological campaign to construct Muslims as the “other” on the part of rightwing racist movements in Europe and their fellow travelers in the neo-conservative and Southern Evangelical movements in the US. While secularism and constitutional safeguards for religious freedom are seen as hallmarks of the post-Enlightenment West, Europe and the West have traditionally been far more hostile to religious-cultural pluralism than Buddhist, Confucian, Hindu and Islamic societies, which historically viewed religious and cultural heterogeneity and pluralism as the natural order of things. This historic reality explains to a large degree why, in contrast to Europe, such religious diversity survived into the modern era in these societies, albeit not always harmoniously. Indeed, the famous thesis of the Belgian historian Henri Pirenne was that the very notion of “Christendom” or “the West” first emerged from the ruins of classical civilization in opposition to northern pagans and southern Muslim and Jewish infidels whose presence in Europe was actually coterminous with the spread of the Holy Roman Empire and Church in large areas of the continent.

The Republican National Committee plans to raise money this election cycle through an aggressive campaign capitalizing on "fear" of President Barack Obama and a promise to "save the country from trending toward socialism."

The strategy was detailed in a confidential party fundraising presentation, obtained by POLITICO, which also outlines how "ego-driven" wealthy donors can be tapped with offers of access and "tchochkes."

The presentation was delivered by RNC Finance Director Rob Bickhart to top donors and fundraisers at a party retreat in Boca Grande, Florida on February 18, a source at the gathering said.

In neat PowerPoint pages, it lifts the curtain on the often-cynical terms of political marketing, displaying an air of disdain for the party's donors that is usually confined to the barroom conversations of political operatives.

The presentation explains the Republican fundraising in simple terms.

"What can you sell when you do not have the White House, the House, or the Senate...?" it asks.

The answer: "Save the country from trending toward Socialism!"

The Iraqi & American governments turn a blind eye health problem, deaths and children born with defects. Again Obama like George Bush is unable like most Americans to see Iraqis as being worthy of defending .

In the past eight years, the United States has allocated $51 billion to rebuild and stabilize Afghanistan. But tracking that money sometimes seems as challenging as finding the leaders of the Taliban.

No one keeps an exact count of the number of private contractors working in Afghanistan -- even though Congress ordered that be done more than two years ago. There’s no central list of all the contracts now in force. Government auditors cannot determine with confidence if the reconstruction money is being properly spent or meets the stated objectives. And efforts to improve coordination among the key U.S. agencies managing the money -- the Pentagon, the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development -- have lagged at best.

That is the picture that emerges from dozens of interviews with auditors, contractors, congressional aides and inspectors general, who echo the findings of independent government reports over the past decade. Without rigorous record-keeping, they say, the contracting process is vulnerable to waste, duplication of effort and fraud.

The oversight task is growing more critical, because as the Obama administration boosts the number of U.S. troops in Afghanistan it also is spawning a surge in contractors hired to build schools and government offices, to help farmers grow cash crops other than poppies that fuel heroin production -- and, in the most critical nation-building task, to train Afghan police and soldiers.

Glenn Beck & the tin foil hat gang. Beck and his loyal minions are now convinced that "Democracy" is a bad thing because Obama used the system of democracy to get elected as did his the Democratic Party. Does he want a third party or just one party which is far to the right. What he and Limbaugh & others preach is that America would be better off without this encroaching evil notion of "Democracy". When Bush was in power they were all for democracy but now not so much. They keep calling for bipartisanship yet were not interested in Bipartisanship when Bush was in power with only a slight majority. Then they argued and agreed with President Bush that as Commander in Chief in wartime was the decider and could ignore critics only he and Cheney & Rumsfeld etc. knew what was best for the country even if this meant give massive contracts to their friends. Corruption is good when the Republicans do it but if one democrat is guilty of corruption they argue that all Democrats are corrupt .Basically what they appear to be saying is that the Democrats being in bed with liberals, leftists, progressives are equivalent to the Communist Party and therefore should not be permitted to control the government.

The US Supreme court being dominated by UberConservatives appointed by Republican presidents from Reagan to Bush 1 & 2 it is therefore not surprising that they believe that Corporations should have the same rights as other citizens and that their rights supersede the public's rights. So regulating corporation in any way shape or form is a violation they believe of a corporations rights. Next as Glenn Beck would like is to outlaw labor unions outright or just change legislation etc. to render them powerless. So a corporation could not be forced to hire minorities or women or be made to pay a minimum wage or any benefits including vacations or working only 40 hour weeks or not permitted to hire children or developing strict safety regulations or environmental regulations since according to Glenn Beck Limbaugh, Hannity & other UberConservatives & the Tea Partiers all these rules and regulations do is interfere with a corporations right to maximize profits at any means necessary. A corporations profits trumps the rights of individual American citizens.

In the end they believe in returning to a 19th century form of Capitalism which existed prior to Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson & FDR the trinity of evil according to Glenn Beck et al. So they wish to reverse all so called Progressive worker friendly legislation and court rulings.

But this also means they want to undo other gains made by women or minorities in the past century. Women they believe should not be paid same as men in order to get them to return to their homes with their daddies or their husbands who are supposed to be according to tradition & the Bible the heads of any household.

And from Harvest Evangelicals.org it is proclaimed that Christians are called upon in "the Great Commission" to evangelize to the Nations and not merely individuals. What matters is that whole nations and the entire world are to be targeted so that the Bible and the teachings of Jesus are to become the basis upon which nations govern themselves and how they relate to other nations. Social problems would be resolved by having those in authority and the rich and powerful acting according to Biblical laws and principles. So these "True Believers" feel emboldened when the Christian Evangelicals including members of the ruling government in Uganda are able to pass anti-Gay legislation . They also are in tune with much of what is preached under the rubric of "The Prosperity Gospel" which teaches that the more one prays and preaches God's word then the greater the chances are that one will be rewarded materially-a new car, big screen tv , reaping the rewards of stock market investments etc. So their view of Jesus and the Bible is that those without wealth are also those without faith in Jesus and the Bible.

(Note: there are a number of similarities between these groups and the missionary group in Washington "The Family" who evangelize to the leaders and the rich & powerful of each nation to thereby quicken the conversion of an entire nation to Christianity as they understand it.And they seem unconcerned if these Born Again leaders deny equal rights or even incarcerate non-believers or mass murder those of a different religion or ideology.)

* For Satan to fall down and all his demons to become subject to the Church (Lk. 10:17ff; Mt. 16:18)
* So that the world that has already been redeemed will be reclaimed, and sinners will force their way into the kingdom of God. (Lk. 19:10; Lk. 16:16)

These politicized Evangelicals are against abortion, are anti-Gay, ant-Islam, anti-Obama, anti-sex education and believe as do other conservatives that America must return to its religious roots in Christianity and the Bible by having another Great Awakening in America to defeat the liberals, secular humanists or progressives . They are also in favor of dismantling most of the US government's bureaucracy which they believe goes against Biblical principles of the Bible. For instance King Solomon wasn't elected into office but was made leader by the will of God. They do insist that the laws of America and in all the nations should be Bible based.
Some of their ideology is borrowed directly from Dominionist theology or has over the decades seeped in or trickled down from the leadership who have been influenced by Dominionist Theology.

And now a sermon from Lou Engles as he uses a little race baiting to lend some credibility to being anti-abortion. He and others in the anti-abortion movement are now arguing that Planned Parenthood & much of the leadership of the Pro-choice movement are in part motivated by racism .

They argue African-Americans and Hispanic Americans are being targeted by the abortionists in order to reduce their numbers by using abortion and birth control and anti-aids hysteria. This is blatantly false and is just a new tactic being used by the anti-abortionists but it appears to be catching on. And yet they have the gall to invoke Martin Luther King Jr. in their fight against abortion. The anti-abortionists as we have seen over the the last three decades or so are also against any form of sex education or the use of birth control , the pill or even condoms. They preach abstinence only. For instance the AIDS rate was falling in Uganda until these abstinence freaks spread their message against any form of birth control so now the country has had a steady increase in AIDS . But these characters are only interested in spreading the Gospel as they interpret it and have little interest in the health issues involved. In other words it is better to die of AIDS or to die in child birth than to give into these secular-humanists by using birth control or condoms etc.

This is accomplished by doing battle with demons or principalities that they believe cause entire ethnicities, religions, and geographic areas to resist conversion. After expelling the demons, the evangelized population can take "dominion" over local government and culture. Then the community supposedly experiences a foretaste of "God's Kingdom on earth." These mini-utopias are advertised as having reduced poverty, corruption, disease, and even healing the environment. This is the ultimate faith-based initiative: remove the demons and society will be healed.

Spiritual mapping is the reconnaissance mission for spiritual warfare and involves the literal mapping of neighborhoods and cities to determine where the demons are. This includes generational curses, or those things in a city's history that allowed demons to take hold of the entire populis. Spiritual mapping is the ideological foundation for the now popular "prayer walking" and the formation of many city-wide prayer groups.

...The New Apostolic movement more closely resembles a political campaign than a denomination. PrayforNewark is a citywide prayer project in which every precinct has been mapped out and every street assigned to a volunteer. PrayforNewark is part of Ed Silvoso's International Transformation Network (ITN), the same operation that is "transforming" Uganda, and promoting the belief that homosexuals are possessed by literal demons. Silvoso's ITN is also active in numerous other locations in the U.S. and worldwide.

...Unsuspecting people are certainly becoming involved in New Apostolic activities without understanding its agenda. For example, the Global Day of Prayer sounds benign but was founded by Graham Power, head of the Africa division of Silvoso's International Transformation Network. Numerous citywide prayer efforts and pastors' networks are under the auspices of Wagner's apostles. Charities, social services, and "reconciliation" events appear to welcome all, but are designed as stealth evangelism to advance the "Kingdom."

...an ICA apostle and motivational speaker for the Seven Mountain campaign, spoke on stealth evangelism at Wasilla Assembly of God. In Guatemalan jails, according to Wallnau, New Apostolics teach prisoners a secularized version of "Kingdom" worldview for a full year before making any attempt to convert them to "born-again" Christianity. Wallnau encouraged the congregation to follow this example for infiltrating the seven spheres of society.

Peter Wagner's ideas have spread widely into mainstream of evangelicalism, to little public notice. Ted Haggard, former president of the National Association of Evangelicals, partnered with Wagner in founding the New Apostolic Reformation and building its early headquarters, the World Prayer Center in Colorado Springs. Despite the fact that Haggard has written books on New Apostolic strategies, his participation in promoting this radical reformation of both church and society is so little known, it could be described as "Haggard's other secret."

If American war crimes are not prosecuted the neoconservatives in the end win the argument. And for Neocons and many Americans abusing & torturing POWs or anyone incarcerated in the USA or outside the USA by US authorities & officials is legal when done by Americans. But they cry me a river if any American a soldier or non-combatant is abused & tortured . You cannot have it both ways. It is somewhat ironic that Joh Yoo teaches international law when it is quite clear that he does notbelieve international laws as such do not apply to America or to put another way if a Regime in America or in other countries can find a slick soulless unethical lawyers such as John Yoo to find loop-holes in the law then suddenly international laws do not apply to that Regime whether its the USA or Great Britain or Israel or China or Pakistan or Afghanistan or Indonesia or Chile- So laws , legislation , executive orders , signing statements are just made up legal instruments by which a government , president , a Prime Minister etc. can do as they please.

President Obama by not going after these war criminals is admitting that legal instruments are purely and entirely inventions created by lawyers to give a cover for committing what otherwise would be War Crimes or Crimes Against Humanity .
Now if this is true then we are now living in a neoconservative utopia or dystopia in which all peoples and nations have the right to do whatever they want to as long as they can use their imagination and legal training and experience to twist the law about to create a cover for its actions . So the neocon world is one of constant struggle in which all countries are involved to gain as much territory as possible & no one has the right to judge any nation for what it does to its own people or to others. Winner takes all and screw the losers.

It appears that Yoo and others in the former Bush administration do not believe that the US constitution or its amendments && International Laws on war crimes etc. do not apply to an American president or those in his administration. Believing in the Imperial Presidency and American sovereignty such international laws are a joke to Yoo and Bush, Condoleezza Rice , Bybee, Gonzales , Cheney, Rumsfeld ,Karl Rove et al.
Conservatives and neo=liberals who support these notions never seem to grasp that if Bush was given all of this leeway to do whatever he wanted to then this applies to any president including President Obama. So if Obama just wanted to force through legislation using signing statements & executive orders that is his right.

Yoo as we see & hear is a slippery lawyer who doesn't even understand a hypothetical question:
The question asked is not that Pres. Bush wanted advice on burying someone alive but what would Yoo say if the president asked if doing so was legal or not.

Yoo seems to think he is attending a graduate seminar class where words are bandied about each participant changing the meaning of words at will & unilaterally.

Yoo won't answer whether Bush can bury someone alive.

The Tea Party & Rightwing Extremist "Oath Keepers" Organization Feeding Paranoia And Encouraging Acts of Violence In America

Note on the front page of Oath Keepers website they now feature members who are African American we assume to prove they are not animated by racism or Nativism.
Yet their members talk in terms of International Bankers which is often seen as code words for the Jewish Conspiracy . They also suggest the country is being changed by legal & illegal immigration do they mean those who are not white or who are not Christian .The founder is a Constitutional Lawyer who does try to be careful about how his ideology and agenda are worded.One can only assume Oath Keepers are talking about "Real Americans " how ever that is defined.

Given the climate of fear and paranoia that has been stirred up by the Tea partiers and by self-serving snake-oil salesmen like Glenn Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity & Fox News it is becoming the perfect storm for paranoid right-wing Americans to come out of their bomb shelters and safe rooms to commit violent actions either as individuals or as part of formal or informal organized groups. Such as individuals in various groups social networking finding extremist paranoids like themselves who are then emboldened by the rhetoric which fills the media and the Net to take action believing there are millions who would support their actions.

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) in its investigation of the Tea party Movement found that the movement in general is a legitimate movement which does not support acts of violence or violent overthrow of the US government or the administration of President Obama. But the SPLC adds the caveat that there are extremist groups which have arisen out of the Militias and militant Patriot groups such as The Oath Keepers within the Tea Party movement which are using the Movement to recruit more members and to connect up with other extremists organizations across America. The fact that they take part in Tea Party gatherings and protests means that they can present their extremist views as being just another part of this mainstream Tea Party movement. Their ideology can then be seen as more legitimate and acceptable to a larger group of citizens. They are then able to camouflage & conceal their extremist ideology which is steeped in a paranoid fear of government which they believe has an ongoing active agenda to rob American citizens of their rights in order to achieve some sort of authoritarian or totalitarian system . They promote various conspiracy theories about the so called New World Order which is working with the United Nations to destroy the sovereignty of America and other nations.

In the video below by the Oath Keepers we are informed about their mission and their belief that American citizens rights are in jeopardy. The video is a rather slick piece of Propaganda created by the Oathkeepers organization . It is at once an advertisement and recruitment video for Oathkeepers. The video uses the Katrina disaster as an example of what government is capable of doing using the disaster as a cover or excuse to strip away the individuals rights. So was Katrina an example of a major government failure or from a more paranoid point of view the government used the disaster for a trial run on how to establish martial law and control large numbers of the civilian population.

The gist of this video is that Marshall law could be enacted at any moment as it was during Katrina and the police and the military would then be permitted to confiscate the weapons held by individual citizens. The government could then round up individuals whom the government believes to be a threat in some way to National Security or to the community or to themselves ie preventive internment . These prisoners could then be placed in the so-called FEMA Camps. The FEMA camps as such are an invention of the fevered minds of the more paranoid extremists on left or right. The Oath Keepers organization was created to inform and organize those who have taken an oath to defend not the president or government but to defend the US Constitution . The Oath Keepers are therefore trying to recruit members of the US military, the National Guard, the Coast Guard, police , firefighters and other first responders. The organizations mandate is to inform and educate these individuals that is to remind them of their "oath" and to be ready to take part in an insurgency or armed rebellion .
